  1. Yard is a brilliant offroad course at the moment!!! Rain,rain and more rain. I've had enough now. Loads of orders but everything is such a mess!!!
  2. Hi Jon what sort of length timber will these go up to?? I'm looking into doing alot more billets next season and I'm just looking arount at moment to see whats out there.

  7. There was no double bag version when I bought mine and 2-3 blokes should be able to lift it onto a transit.

  10. Buy a TR70 or SM70 takes all off cuts and I cant produce enough kindling with mine at the moment:biggrin:

  13. I just bought the Riko A9 vario which was on demo at the APF and i'm very pleased with it and they really did me a good offer.
  14. I've got the SM70 and it's a brilliant bit of kit, Had a chat with the guys at the APF and asked when's the self powered petrol/diesel road towable SM110 going to arrive?? Watch this space!! Hopefully they'll approach me to do Demo's with both macines and give me a machine (SM110) for all my effort. lol
  15. Loved every minute as it's a 10 minute drive from my house and managed to finally make the decision for a new log splitter between an Oxdale and Riko A9 both petrol engines and both brilliant machines but the guys at Riko gave me an offer i couldn't turn down. Happy days
  16. That does look a neat set-up for netted logs:thumbup: My one shed is almost full(65 cube) already of split logs and I did about 50 nets Saturday afternoon and put in the Barn as it looks like being wet and cold for the week. Thanks Phil

    Fruitwood

    I'm going to start tomorrow so I'll take some pictures then. But I would imagine a few butts to Hampshire really is going to work out pretty expensive(thats why I've put local). I'll struggle to get lengths much more than 6ft which will make it pretty hard for transport.

    Anyone local interested in fruit wood? I've got the option of 45 acres plum/apple(5000 +trees) some very old trees so a bit rotten but also some nice stuff there aswell if any interest I will be starting on them soon. As long as I can cover cost of my time/fuel with timber i'd be happy.
