Does anybody have an operators licence? ive just been reading about them now and it seems like theyve made it as hard as possible to get 1! you have to employ a transport manager?! and some body whos competent of doing maintenance checks! also have equipment that can measure the emmisions and something else! what are your experience of operators licences?

am i reading it wrong but if you look on flowlift website on the log splitter kits look at the individual price for components in the kit. then price them individually on their website and for the same parts some are £100 cheaper!

nobodys wants to know andy ive rang 2 firms now and unless i can reel all the part numbers off they dont seem to want to give any advice! ive already got a 5.5 hp honda engine so i was going to go from there. can i run any pump off that engine? whats the difference between group 1 2 and 3 pumps?

im building a log splitter from scratch. i already have a honda gx 160 5.5 hp engine and am looking for hydraulics. i know very little about hydraulics does any pump work with any ram and lever? will any fit my engine? help

Yeah! to be fair the person I spoke to was happy for me to do the work its was the neighbour that was trying to do it on the cheap.

I went to look at this beech tree few days ago that was shared between 2 neighbours. The tree had been butchered before and the epicormic growth was unreal! Long story short I recomended it be dismantled, put a price in 1 neighbour was happy, he later went and told the other neighbour what I had said and told him the price. The neighbour said no no I've already got a tree surgeon coming! Anyway a lad turned up in shorts trainers ladders no shirt and a christmas cracker chainsaw and this was the end result! Looks like they had tried to put a gob in which was allover the place! The tree would never have gone where they wanted it to anyway! It would have flattened the wall and maybe even a passing car! Now I've gotta go and dismantle it and remove the mountain of brash that's been left behind!!!

ive just started using my spider jack with a tachyon rope. Ive found that my rope seems to get twisted alot. does anyone else have this problem? ive thought about using a mallion with a swivel connected to it to iliminate the problem

ive got a transit tipper and would like something a little more capable. but what other options are there? 3.5t just isnt enough! and as much as id love a mog i dont think i could justify running 1.

hi yes ive sorted the problem with the mounting bolts. similar to how you described, its now got 10mm steel plate bolted to it! think it will probably rock the engine to pieces lol. the latest problem is with the in feed! honestly m8 as soon as i fix 1 think something else breaks! what problems did you have with yours?

It seems to stop the rollers as soon as any material of a decent size goes through the rollers?

There's no blockage. The rollers only stop when there is material been fed through. When its running and nothings going through it works fine

My chippers in feed rollers keep stopping and I have to constantly press the feed roller reset button! Any ideas why?
