    Id please

Whats is this??? its got lots of small dark berries
  2. It's took me just short of 3 years to build the business up enough to go full time, worked every weekend for 18 months, was not, is not easy to do. We also do quite a bit of fencing what helps fill the gaps up lots.
  3. Yeah but your skid steer makes conny bashing look good lol
  4. id love to work a day with you guys, looks better than most of the conny smashing jobs we get
  5. Ian all your jobs look really interesting, do you never get any crap jobs to do
  6. At 26 even on minimum wage based you should be entitled to more surely! Is that even legal
  7. I hate coming off a job or cancelling but this is the second day this week. Not a good start.
  8. Who actually climbs in the rain? I don't mind working on the ground in bad weather at all, but when it's wet through, raining sideways and you've just slipped and face planted the same tree 3 times in the last hour it's time to give up. Or am I just been a big girls blouse
  9. there is only so much 1 man can burn though
  10. I have got around 20 ibc's full of Conifer all split ready to burn, i burn loads of it myself. I know it aint the best but its not the worst either, do you sell yours? or mix it in with other softwoods?
  11. Cool, i best get them shifted
  12. This is the first winter we are going to start and sell logs, my question is what moisture content should they be around before i start and send them out? most are at around 16-17%.
  13. How far back from the carriageway can you cut? or is it just what overhangs?
  14. Whats the situation with regards to pruning back TPO'd tree's growing road side? The trees in question are on a bus route, am i right in thinking that you don't need to notify or receive consent from the LA? Also is there height restrictions, distance pruning back from carriageway etc?
  15. We had to do 17 meters a day for Atkinsons and that was bloody hard graft! we did a 64 foot run a few weeks ago of vertical lap and it took us 2 days. once the posts and rails are set fixing pales is easy. Sometimes better mixing concrete on site works out about £1.80 per hole compared to £8 using postmix.
  16. Im not a big Iveco fan tbh
  17. The vast majority of our work in on road or easily accessible off road ie could probably get a wagon there. Could probably get a decent canter for less than a mog would cost, I suppose i could do the transition to hgv a lot easier and cheaper than to a mog
  18. We have got to the stage now where we have outgrown our transit tipper, the capacity of the vehicle is really poor and i spend more time driving the van to tip off when id rather be on site getting work done! I have been granted an operators licence for a 7.5t vehicle but am now thinking would a wagon or unimog be better? my main concern with the wagon is the fact that it would have to be kept away from home which i don't like for security reasons and the extra faffing around before and after work picking and dropping the vehicle up. what are the pros & cons to owning/running a Unimog over a wagon? carrying capacity insurance etc? I have never had much to do with unimogs so am unsure of what set up would be best, any help would be appreciated
  19. And i thought our new garden shed i made was good.
  20. I got asked by a woman to look at her bushy area...down the side of the house
  21. I need to do mine or loose my HGV entitlement! I personally think it is disgusting! everyone i know has said its the biggest load of crap they have ever seen! people working for big firms who are getting paid to do it an the course is paid for are laughing. people who are paying for it themselves are struggling! unpaid time off loss of earning through not doing jobs! what a joke
  22. Makes my little david Brown look pap lol. still doing her up, running fine now. still looking for a front loader though
  23. Ditto i use our pasloade for everything, sure beats the old hammer
  24. Cheers paul, there are a few things in there that i should really be including too.
  25. True they are fast but the last job i saw they did was pap and i mean pap
