Its customers fence, cant plant owt behind as it will get wrecked, everything that's solid is industrial. Thought about double gravel board on bottom to make it awkward to kick then like verti lap panel but on the reverse butt boards up together and fix on. Will never get kicked through.

I had thought about gun towers and an armed patrol but was afraid it was ott.

I have a fence to erect that runs along the side of a footpath that is frequented by scum bags! the fence that is currently in has being kicked to pieces and set on fire! other than palisade or mesh what other options is there? customer has asked if we can just use gravel boards but as its going to be 6' 6" high and its 190 feet long it will look horrible and cost a fortune...ideas

After having my Vermeer S800Tx rolled on site, i spent all day taking it apart to fix the problem...I spoke to mechanics and Paul @ vermeer UK, who talked me through what i should be doing...excellent customer service & support The machine is very well built and pretty easy to work on...i wouldn't hesitate on buying Vermeer in the future

Very, it could of being a lot worse! i think the exhaust has a bit of oil in it though as when its on fast tickover or high revs it smokes like a god en! lad at Vermeer have said that it should clear with a bit of graft.

Yes its running fine, I think if it had partially filled the cylinders to allow it to turn over it could of being a lot worse! As they were so full it just locked solid. Lucky

Not just tree surgery, i know a lad who owns coffee shops and restaurants and even he struggles to find reliable honest people that's in low skilled jobs! 1 woman fiddled 3 grand out of the till

This year has being a huge learning curve when it comes to employees and how the can add to my business, making do with the help you can get is a big difference to getting the help you need, I genuinely dont think the skills and correct work ethic is out there!

Its true Mick, its not until after i thought i will end up paying for someone's stupidity, business is at the stage where i cannot do everything myself and can no longer babysit grown men, in reality i need to bring in or train up skilled men that will in turn make my life easier not harder!

Due to staff issues i have being using subcontract groundsmen, after being told he had x amount of hours on a skid steer i let him loose on our brand new 33k skid steer, it was clear he was not as skilled as he made out to be but in an effort to keep the job going i let him continue. He wasn't a novice but after being told to slow down etc he rolled the machine over! i have spent a full day rectifying his balls up, the job we had it on is still unfinished, i didn't get home until 9 pm after getting the machine recovered! luckily i have managed to get it going with only cosmetic damage. Things could of being a lot worse than they are physically and financially, i am still in the **** and are down on a substantial amount of money. He has now sent me an invoice for 3 days at full whack! no "how is the machine" "can i help fix it" "or i feel bad and don't want paying for the day"... Tell me i am wrong but if it was me i would feel guilty as sin and offer as much help as i possibly could, i expect subbies to work hard, be on time, be skilled in what they do and treat my equipment with respect!

They are only 1300 kgs my old Transit 90 pulled it no probs.

Was on full revs when it went over, took about 30 secs to turn it off. Stop it back up and left it, wont even turn over

Vermeer skid steer went over yesterday, had to get recovered as it wont start! Any ideas before I look at it tomorrow? Being told to pull injectors out and spin the fan to expel any oil as it mite be oil locked.

Got a Cargo tipper, good trailer... pipe for tipper ram was being crushed by body going down so re routed it, and the clips that hold the ramps in are a pain in the arse! apart from that its a very good trailer.

It costs me £6 a month for the Barclays account, Barclays savings and vat account are free as linked into main business one, hsbc is in free banking period so no account fee and can pay as much cash or cheques in as I like for 18 months. When. The 18 months is up I will close that account and look for another bank with free banking period. I was paying £40 a month paying everything into Barclays with charges now I only pay the account fee of !6

Why does it matter how many accounts you have? As long as your statements match your invoices and its all legit? I have 4 business ones 1 where bacs go the other whilst still in free banking period gets cash and cheques paid in, the other is a vat account and the final is a business savings account. Never been an issue, everything is above board as bookkeeper stays on top.

Why are people staying with the same bank? just opened another account with hsbc to run along side barclays that costs £6 a month, 18 months free business banking i can pay cash and cheques in without no additional charges, most banks have 12-18 months free business banking.

I was exactly the same when i started up, hiring the same grinder on a 2 hour round trip! machine was horrible to use, bought a new 1 on finance the paid it off in 6 months with the extra work i did with it. Plus its always there when i want it.

So you can burn at point of origin but not if it is moved from site! whats difference!
