  4. have a look at the back of the transfer box on any landy, if its got a circular blanking plate bolted on then you can fit (easily) a power take off unit, however if you can find any units available please let me know.. i think the utility spec ones have a genny fitted to make electrickery..
  5. dont forget that tinnies can explode with enthusiastic driving..
  6. been doing this wierd shape hedge for a couple of years now, just a tickle so far but might suggest cutting it straight one day.. oh thats me doing my bestest pose, working my way up to a lunge oneday:thumbup1:
  7. ravensthorpe, west yorks, amused me enough to snap..
  8. whats that growing with the nettles in the last pic?
  9. i keep playing with the idea of fitting a pto driven chipper into the back of a 110, chipping into a trailer giving you (with a tonne weight unladen trailer) a possible chip capacity of 2.5tonnes, the area around the chipper could be built into enough handy tool lockers to carry a lot of essential kit. landrover dealer tell me the pto for the 2.4 engine isnt signed off yet so cannot be used yet but im pretty sure a 200tdi would be well up to the task..
  10. im taking my 110work truck, and my bro is bringing his v8 90..
  11. when i was travelling round california a couple of years ago we used library for internet connection etc, there was some amazing books on the old logging, i hadn't realised how large scale the felling was.. there are still 'old growth' stumps everywhere
  12. not for reading..incase i run out of essential roll haha
  13. i've got the collins one next to the toilet..

  16. rope/winch cable snapped?
  17. blakes for me, prussik on strop but thats a pain..
  18. haha nice pics, i got a £50 camera that goes everywhere with me, so most of my posts include a random pic of something.. this is from yesterdays huge tree:001_tt2:
  19. are you a registered sky installer?
  20. that garlic stuff stinks, wouldn't like to be the poor chap doing the innoculating.. heard its an expensive dose too
  21. there was a chap who got into trouble with council near me as he was keeping them in his front garden on nearby council house estate, do you have to own a field or some land or something?
  22. subsistance means £5 everyday for sandwiches etc, taxman wrote to me a couple of years ago to let me know i was putting through a lot of car maintainance.. thats cos i was doing a lot of car maintainance (parts etc) it would have been more if id paid someone else to do it-idiots. then my accountant tells me he wants to adjust figures like put phonebill up and fuel/sandwiches down, so i wouldnt get investigated.. id rather the books were right if im investigated thanks
  23. saw some powered stop n go boards at the weekend (east coast), never seen any before, wonder if they could have a remote control with double 'stop' function?
