  1. not had one snap yet but chain came off bar once, mashed chaincatcher and wrapped round my right hand, put a good hole in my glove and made me bleed my own blood, haha only a scratch but put new chain catcher on. was 25inch bar on 460
  2. tracing wires lastweek meant removing the dash, been driving with lots of legroom this week:thumbup1:.. (its a bit cleaner now - pic was just after removal)
  3. could have told me earlier dean, was working in tingley today, took 3hrs to get home because m62 was closed/backed up..
  4. camera and spare batteries, just in case. oh and lucozade sport.. one day i'll start carrying a coat but i'd have to buy one first..

  6. where are you based? job based? if its round yorkshire i have a magic problem solving ex-bt timeserved guy who can extend them along ground for duration of job, then re-position properly and test to make sure all is well, comes in handy for jobs where wires are problems etc.. Ed.

  9. im heading north early tomorrow morning, was thinking of dropping yr chair off, but just multimapped st helens and its not really en-route,im going up m61 (im crap with knowing where stuff is) off to york now to drop chipper in for service. Ed.

  12. keep yr toes from pushing against the stem while cutting/reaching round or they can 'cam out' of the spikehole leading to a slip, have fun.. Ed.
  13. flat file on the two angles, dont file the largest flat face (back), spike angle gauges are available if you struggle, watch your rope with sharp ones though..
  14. hicap and 10x6 ifor for me, had a fun delivery few weeks ago(1 load carried into cellar), could park close to house so i thought i was onto a winner, carried the whole load in large washingbasket size buckets up house steps, along passageway, down spiral staircase, through two doorways and into woodstore next to fire. got a good tip though, and the guy ordered another load when he saw the firewood.. yay
  15. not great firewood elder, burns fast and smokey, apologies to bob slade, it would appear i just called you an office puff..
  16. sweet truck rob, how do you find the hoverbox in the back? does it hover at any height or is it predetermined?
  17. nicely finished yew there, burned some elder tonight, havnt seen any hags yet, didnt talk to tree before i cut it down lastyear either, blackcats are just cats, i dont walk under ladders purely because its likely something will fall on your head, superstition is for puffs and office chat..
  18. looked pretty official to me, their vans said highways agency on the back. all the visi-vested oiks had mini laptops to write in, i even put my seatbelt on for a bit.. deffo wasnt vosa as i saw them the other side of town today aswel..
  19. nipped down to yard this morning and on the way through local village there were cameras up everywhere, all fastened to lampposts, some roads had them on nearly every lamppost, there were guys writing details of every parked car and noseying about everywhere, cameras were signed up as some sort of traffic survey, got into yard, started having a pee next to landy, looked up to see camera on nearest post pointing straight at me haha, hope they enjoyed watching that.. oh if they had put them up a few hours sooner they might have caught some scum nicking red diesel from machines in next yard..
  20. anybody seen the new vw L200 size pickup? saw a pic of one last wk, wouldnt dare use anything other than a landy myself but maybe suitable for schoolrun?
  21. a little something my dad knocked together when he wanted to replace his gas bottle, the pipes run through to a large copper tank and.. well do erm ..stuff:blushing:
  22. nice, mine is one year older than that but maybe worse condition haha,
  23. virgin1 channel, +1 will start at 9pm and bat bit starts at 9.30pm, woman with bats in the attic gets iso-tech guys to install one way netting to get them out overnight, then seal roof up to stop them returning..
