  1. No idea, just made me laugh. I thought LDV's were no good for towing caravans as they wouldn't pull a stolen one fast enough?
  2. Saw this today, funny name
  3. Opinel £9, use mine everyday. Just don't spread Mulberry jam with it and lick the blade clean. Ouch!
  4. Care in the community, was helping the fat people walk a few steps further
  5. I got this one last year, never misses a beat and does everything we ask of it. Its the 2.5DI transit engine and is slow. I'm sure I'm not the only one here who takes up three parking bays at Burglar-king.
  6. This one just fitted in the garden, the husky ripped through it like soft cheese.
  7. When i started working in a garage I was asked to go get a long stand ..so knowing what it was, i nipped off to the butty shop for half an hour. Learned some new swear words when i got back and was shown the long axle stand in the corner i was asked to pass under the ramp!
  8. Yes that's them, I remember working on tyres when I worked at a garage, all the looked after vans had them on, the poshest ones were brass
  9. I've got one of them small boost starter packs in the van, lost count of the times it's come in handy. Didn't stop me getting a flat on the inside twin last week when loaded. It did make me want to modify the valves with an extension kit, there's loads on eBay cheap.
  10. Couldn't find right socket, needed chipper working so make one to fit, took Andy maybe five mins to make and worked a treat.
  11. Proper tool for the job. I'm still reeling from the price of that rotor! And the ten day wait till it landed.
  12. Just ask yourself- do I want to be a tree surgeon or a twig nurse?
  13. The apprentice got the mog stuck on the rails yesterday.
  14. Just weld them back on, simples
  15. Have a look at http://www.uni-power.co.uk
  16. Fish plank, put a fish on a alder plank and bung it in the oven, it's supposed to flavour the fish or something, I'm not the cooking guy so maybe research it first yourself
  17. The seller is an idiot. I sold him a bust chainsaw for parts, waited ages for payment, never got feedback. That ad says it all, putting his name on them nasty pieces of crud.
  18. I've got the stihl harness, it's good for hedge trimming etc, but it could do with a higher attachment thing, like the easy lift one.
  19. Found this today with the splitter too
  20. Makes my neighbours veg grow big and strong
  21. While the fire brigade was on strike the other month, my local station was broken into and a lot of cutting gear was stolen. What chance do we have securing our gear when the scum have the best kit?
  22. I'm collecting these on Friday, thanks Chris. Not big logs but worth milling rather than firewood.
  23. We keep emergency pot noodles in case the chippy is shut
  24. Not yet haha
  25. Got this and the willow to remove in a fortnight for a client, it's mostly held together with cable ties so might go through the chipper
