  1. had that a few times this winter already, cant help that a few times its been competitors on the phone finding out my price?! bit sad really, i'd happily have a chat with them if they introduced themselves!
  2. did you get them pictures mate? would be interested in seeing the sides as i believe i have the same trailer.
  3. the ifor tipper trailer is 1.3 cube standard i believe, but i'm going to make extensions so i can take a 1.8 load or 2 1.2 loads. where in essex are you mate?
  4. think ours was 60p a litre, through atlasfram group, mind you we do fill our 30,000 litre tank up each time
  5. how'd you get on with it? i nearly bought one down near oxford couple of weeks ago, gone for a club cab and an ifor tipper instead. the buck on one i was gonna buy was 1.3 cube if i remember right. 12 loads a day must be pretty local mate?!
  6. I'd love a Clumber Spaniel, done plenty of research on them and they seem to be really rare!?!
  7. single cab? club cab? crew cab?
  8. Steve, the directory is not letting me change my listing at all, tried adding some photos and changing my website but its not having none of it and just giving me error codes!?!
  9. Steve, Just wondering if you could explain the traffic report sections please on my listing? 933 on SUMMARY, 20 DETAIL and 4 CLICK THROUGH what does each highlighted section actually mean? sorry, im just not that hot with computer talk just want to know roughly how many visitors im getting thanks
  10. A pub called up today, they wanted a load straight away could I do it. I said i'd finished for the day but could drop a load off on my way to the Rugby. Great they said, how much will we owe you. Tell them my price, they knew it anyway as they had my card, oh we can get a cube for £60 from up the road was the reply.....oh right I say. Its your call, thats my price and I can do you a load in ten minutes if you want it.Guess what, they gave it a miss!! Not at one point did they ask me what the wood was like that I supplied, was just all about the price. Really hope they get a crap green load for £60, instead of my lovely seasoned Ash and Field Maple
  11. I processor straight from the stack into my truck and straight out to the customer most of the time, if we have a few slack days i'll billet a load of timer up or cage a load of logs up but it works best for me to process from stack to truck. Mind you my stack has sat there for 2 years so its fairly well seasoned.
  12. how much you charging for that mate?
  13. my new (to me) l200 was dropped off tues and put straight to work. 5 bulk bags to do this morning, all orders this week been new customers as well and all but one of them was from the flyer drop i did couple of weeks ago
  14. this isnt out thetford way is it? i have been offered 2 artic loads of pop for free, just got to cover the haulage. prob is i've already got 10t of pop split so dont really want much more of that yet
  15. Looking to buy in some soft wood cord to try next winter, anyone in the Suffolk area got any for sale or know who to call? I'll still be buying hardwood as well but want to start offering cheaper mixed load, as well as all hardwood, next year. Any replies are appreciated, cheers
  16. my god how they managed to sit there in their studio without running out and stopping them idiots before they killed themselves! is there a part 2 on utube?
  17. thats very reasonable
  18. this one? Mitsubishi L200 Tipper | eBay
  19. i nearly bought one few weeks back but got let down, what yr was it?
  20. i sort of agree with you but i dont try selling whole loads of pop to anyone. I dont think my local burning pop is a bad thing at all, the landlord also gets prime hardwood from me so his roaring firewood every evening looks great. I just do him a deal on the loads of pop and he has educated a few people who have been very surprised how lovely pop burns when dry.
  21. Sound great, me and my girlfriend are looking for a cozy retreat for next weekend on the Suffolk coast somewhere. Walberswick is well worth a visit also if you are near. Lovely little old harbour village. All the best
  22. I know there is a few Arbtalkers from Suffolk and they, and everyone else hopefully, may be interested in Country Tracks @ 11am today on BBC 1. I've never watched the program but looking forward to it as Rede is covered I believe and thats the next village over from me. Hope they portray this area well, as it really is a beautiful part of Suffolk that is well hidden away Hawkedon, where I live, is a real Gem of Suffolk and be nice to see it on tele hopefully
