  1. Thanks mate will do think I'll clean it up put a new 88cc head and piston on it then brought a 441 and left it but seams a great saw.
  2. Does anyone know where you can get a chain brake handle for this saw it's the metal one or do they do a new version that fits ?.
  3. Er you have micro sim version nano sim ipad air if that's what you mean ?.
  4. Evening, a recent job nothing amazing but every thing was bang on with health and safety. Had to drop the live voltage line and was unable to use the platform to dissect the tree as the gusts were manic. When you see the system of health and safety working it all makes sense. 5. Evening fellas if you can pm me your contact details I'll save it to my phone and when in your areas give you a buzz when we have clean log an chip ?.
  6. Well two more jobs fri and sat then finally a GRCS will be in the tool kit .
  7. A tricky rigging as nothing could be dropped all down on the ropes and with an asbestos roof underneath and driveway
  8. No one can afford my rates on Christmas, I'd want £1000 per hour simply because then I can carry on getting pissed .
  9. I use Buckingham titaniums Velcro straps, you need to do the foot straps up well tight and they do work loose. Heating and bending them can weaken them but maybe not to breaking point in use. I found you need your boots to match your spikes .
  10. Just fancied not using them that day, I like stubs I feel a lot safer vs my foot arches taking a beating. Plus as I was rigging it those stubs help reach other parts of the tree easier. I plan my route out then chop away. Just depends on my mood to what kit I use on any given day .
  11. If you can send it bud would help ?.
  12. Thanks bud I'll see if I can find it
  13. Does anyone have a copy of a risk assessment as my computer kick it and i have lost my copy, appreciate it .
  14. Both lol, but the old man lets me use the 66 and 88 so my 441 and 288 covers most stuff ATM.
  15. Appreciate it input again, its alot of money for a strap and a tube but seams like those that have it rate it, what would you get first 395xp or grcs since this is my situation today ?.
  16. Mind is made tax relief on thee way in the form of the GRCS. Thanks guys.
  17. Appreciate the input, I take it they are reliable and no one has bent one ?.
  18. I know a few of you have invested in one and I'm about to join the club, my question is for you owners who have had them for a few years can you honestly say it's worth the cost versus my current 3001 stein ?. Is the lifting capability really worth the couple of grand ?. Thanks lads.
  19. I use one all the time, making the cut with a pole saw is exactly the same cut a chainsaw makes.
  20. Big fat bitches those scleisings, over priced and rust like hell. They are great at chipping but expensive in every way. The tw125 can't be beaten or I have seen nothing in 10 years that is as simple and as robust. My advice is buy one no more than 5 years old service it and don't let fecktards use it EVER. Go onto my YouTube channel and see both my 125s working But it's just advice do wat Eva the feck ya wanna do
  21. I purchased a 2001 tw125 in 2007-2011. I sold it for what I paid for it at 10 years old. It was perfectly reliable, I brought a brand new one in 2011 which is three years old and not one single problem. All this shite about bearings is laughable I have had nearly 7 years from these machines with no bearing faults ?. The only thing I don't like is the flywheel housing insides are not welded enough to stop water pushing into the paint creating rust bubbles in the paint work (Really pisses me off as it makes the machines look tatty after not even a years use). I used to see some shite box timberwolves come into workshops as they were not owner operated and never washed or maintained, yet still lasted years with no love at all. If you change the engine oil and filter as instructed, maintain sharp blades every week, change the hydro fluids, spark plugs etc the tw125 is IMO absolutely unbeatable in price, performance, maintenance, move about ability, reliability. And for god sake wash the thing or it will rust and so will the electrical stuff. Apples for apples this is in its own class, how ever I always said stick it on a turntable and it would be king of the 20hp chippers, the new turntable is also worth a look for tw.
  22. I guess my question is what's the best option left husq 395xp, the old new 660 or wait for still to fix these 661 ?.
