  1. I have a stein 3001 so on big jobs I'll stick both onto the tree and switch between bombing and lifting out , it's a new toy I'm treating it like a virgin haha.
  2. Why buy a crap product ?. It's a bad rip off of the GRCS modified with a fixed bollard. Poor straps, poor mounting plate and offers no advancement over a GRCS ?.
  3. I will be switching the winch out every time we drop load wood, Purely for lifting and tbh it's so easy to do takes 31 seconds 1 being the time to process the need to switch ha. Used it today did a slit level cut and just popped it off from the top, can't wait to go pro it in use.
  4. Boys it's theoretical, this is a normal GRCS
  5. If this device was built to accommodate both the bollard at the top and the winch under neath, surely you can lift and dynamic load all at the same time and the bollard protects the winch ?. The bollard takes the main forces in the first wrap and the winch can be used for all situations ?. Oh and by the way woop whoop new toy
  6. Thanks chaps I'll have a look at these vids
  7. Well after um an r ing I got myself one whoop whoop
  8. Great machines buddy and abit more of a sensible price for a spinning disk on a trailer haha.
  9. Oohhh fingers nearing the button just hate seeing thousands leave the account it's like a little comfort blanket keeping it fat haha. But speculate for toys is always excused .
  10. Nice photos, I'm getting one within the next week or so just waiting for the accountant to give me the yearly sting . Does the winch take well to lowering decent loads ie will a shock load wreck it ?.
  11. Have seen this but don't like it, looks less refined compared to the GRCS also it's not proven and I'm no test pilot. Normally to beat the current no 1 you offer an equal product cheaper to get it out there but I believe it is more expensive. I'd like one built in the last 3 months hence seeing what the current model is
  12. Ah good good, the newer one has a better winch i believe ?.
  13. Can any one tell me which is the latest model, chomping at the bit to get one but id be pissed if its an old stock one ?. Thanks
  14. £500 plus vat a year is expensive for a logo of a tree IMO that none of my customers recognise?. The AA does not guarantee a quality service from their approved tree company's therefore it serves no useful purpose ?. No more than the guild of master crafts men or trustatrader / checkatrade etc. The AA should offer an individual tree surgeon accreditation, this I would do. It should be required to be qualified upto a minimum of cs41 / cs32 min £5 mil PL insurance £10 mil EPL and at least 10 recent reviews from customers contacted from the aa for an unbiased review.
  15. LOL everyone knows the scam ay, maybe 5 years is too long they may say every 1-3 years ha ill get some magnetic signs then
  16. No good for us tree fellers then ?. They want to flood the market with certificated guys, then they can still smash wages to rock bottom. I guess this industry is doomed for eternally low wages . .
  17. What will happen is if this is adopted then your chippers will require the same test even under 750kg in time. It's not about safety it's about funding the European empire. They have even proved the uk has low accidents, similar results to a country with the test. Tail lights should not require an mot when a total buck tard knows how to keep them legal and police already enforce it. Next your chainsaws will be excluded from the low emission zone because they are the problem not the thousands of tons of spent aviation fuel being dumped on our houses.
  18. Won't bother with it for at least 5 more years if ever, they only think about ripping us off so don't surprise me.
  19. I wonder if they have improved reliability and quality by 3% ?.
  20. See this makes sense, there was to many tickets teaching the same thing !. Tho when felling I will never be using a 15 inch bar on a 30 inch fell ah it's just making things hard for your self. But it's nice to know ya little chopper can do big things ay
  21. Cheers lads that's good news for the wallet then . I guess wind blown will be the refresher from this then ?.
  22. Got this course in just over a week and was wondering does it not cover medium and large felling ?. It was a butt ache getting it booked and I could only imagine a cs33 would take 10 years to get on ?.
