  1. I would not use old fuel like that in a new saw, use it for cleaning something greasy...
  2. A few pics of a poplar felling, had just 5 m of space on a bank of a small lake. Could not afford to drop it in the water
  3. Your welcome, just found it with a few clickx... Pascal
  4. I also invested in the Treemotion a few months ago and it is a great harness.
  5. Found this on a Dutch website from a JENZ dealer : "Engines from Mercedes available between 280 & 600 HP, chips between 75 & 200 m3 per hour" Pascal
  6. Found this one at an Autrian company, there might be an importer in the Uk. http://www.rotek.at/produkte/pdf-aktuell/Motoren/ED4-2V-0812-E/ED4-2V-0812-EH.MPG
  7. Motorbikes ? Yes, since I was 12. I have had 9 bikes since my 18th birthday. I love British/Irish roadracing, been to the TT IOM in 2008 and plan to go back next year. I am also a regular at Scarborough, if anyone would go to the Gold Cup in Sept, let me know ! Pascal

    192t

That is just what I meant, it has less power so ... and like I said it is my dealers opinion, not my personal experience. Pascal
  9. What I heard from collegues using this kind of equipment, the fuel consumption is about 1 l/hp/day. So if the tractor has 250 hp.... Pascal

    192t

The 192 is more a hobbysaw, my dealer would not sell it to anyone who has used a 200T before. Pascal
  11. All the best for the New Year !! Pascal
  12. It is definately. After some practise I manage to make a "correct" shot in 1 max 3 times. A good investment Pascal
  13. I got my tirfor here : Biggelaar Machinery and Equipment. Of course.....it is in the Netherlands, I drove over there on a rainy morning, well worth the trip. They always have a few in stock at low prices, but without cable. The website is available in english, look under "other" Pascal
  14. Using just regular steel Buckinghams, very solid but not CE label so look not good for HSE. Pascal
  15. I would suggest to hone the cylinder and replace the piston. It is clear that the piston is not aligning straight in the cylinder so it is at it end. Not replacing it is just going to cause a worse wear. Just curious, what 2stroke oil did you use and which mixture ? Pascal
  16. Try to find a second hand Tirfor, I got one for 100 euro about 10 years ago. Only bought the cable new. Pascal
  17. Shocking !!! I wonder how he got down from that ladder ? It would be good to show this to my father in law, he's a similar stuntman. Pascal
  18. Yes I thought of that myself. I am waiting for the paper carb gaskets to arrive, I will have them next week. Will test the sparks. Thx for helping out Merry Christmas
  19. A very good "mix" is what I accidentally discovered. I mix 1/40 Castrol TTS which is used in motorcross. I use this oil for 20 years now and never caused trouble. To this I add 1/3 of Aspen 2stroke. So 2 liters of regular 1/40 + 1 liter Aspen. This gives awsome performance, try it out !! Pascal
  20. That would be interesting...thx for posting !
  21. Well, I had a look at the other threat, and located the breather hole on which a rubber hose was fitted. Blew out the thing but I am suspicious about it being clogged. So I took it to the Stihl workshop where good old Joh(a)n will put it in the ultrasonic cleaner. It needs a good cleaning after all with 450 hours on the meter. I borrowed Johan's compression tester, and to my surprise the defective cylinder has more compression than the good one I have about 120 psi/sqinch on the bad one and 100 psi on the good one. So there is not a problem with valves, gaskets etc. Will now check the valve clearance. I will have the carb back next tuesday, I hope the prob is solved. Pascal
  22. So I can leave the valves in the head ? Just remove that bolts of the cylinderhead and lift it off ? Thx your replying Pascal
