  1. The basket doesn't save for very long. A couple of weeks ago I was trying to order a new bar and a few different chains and every time I added an item, it would disappear. Tried to make an order a few times and got fed up and waited for the arb show.
  2. Engelbert Strauss type a's are my choice for a hot day. Vents behind the knees and are lightweight. Cheap at £120. http://m.engelbert-strauss.co.uk/Work-_Safetywear/Trousers/Work_Trousers/Trousers/e_s_Forestry_cut_protection_trousers_KWF-3310810-60176-370-646.html
  3. Why is this? Imo, you either have 2 years previous trading or you don't. Hypothetically, what if Geddes Trees Ltd was taken by another company so you couldn't register it? I am restructuring and renaming my business (from one Ltd Co to another Ltd co) so that means I have to wait 2 years to become aa approved? Its a shame because chas, constructionline, etc. don't have these rules.
  4. My timberwolf 150 needs new tyres and I like the look of the tyres fitted to the new 230's. Anyone know what make and size they are?
  5. Mines only a 3 tonner. I've just built this attachment for my new grab but wish this topic had come up a week earlier! 😠
  6. Similar to this setup? I like the fact it creates it's own stand when it's not in use.
  7. Is it a flat screen? Just had 2 pieces of laminated glass cut for my mini digger from a local glazing company. I made a template from thin ply and they cut them perfectly. £48 all in!
  8. Contact a vahva jussi dealer. Their small grab and rotator is about £600. I put a post up a while ago with the price list. It is a well made grab and is surprising what size timber it can pick up for its compact size.
  9. Thanks for the replies and putting my mind at rest. I can continue my hunt for a digger now!
  10. Does anyone regularly tow 3.5t with a 300tdi? I need a 2.5t excavator which I can't tow with the navara but having driven my 300tdi defender around for the past few weeks, I'm doubting it's ability to tow this weight.
  11. What weights are the 90 and 990 road tows?
  12. No! It's all very strange! I found an old v5 in all the documentation I have for the vehicle, and checked the green new keepers slip and there's nothing on it.
  13. Just as an update... The V5 has no weights listed on it. What's stopping me getting a new vin plate stamped up changing the GTW to 7000kgs?
  14. I'm hoping that's the case! I could live with that. Here's a pic of the vin:
  15. I've just bought another defender 110 ex-utilities. It's the uprated 3500 gvw type. This is where it gets a little confusing... My other ex-utilities 110 is 3500 gvw, 7000gtw. The new one is 3500 gvw, 6550 gtw. So I can only tow 3050kgs. All other defenders can tow 3500kgs so why might this one be different? I'm waiting for the v5 to arrive but I suspect it will say the same as the vin plate. Is it possible to get the v5 & vin plate changed to uprate the gtw?
  16. I'm still building my truck Jon. I hooked one up to a battery and shone it up the garden.... It was like daylight! 😆
  17. I could make you a custom roof rack. I've just picked this one up from the galvanizers. Pm me if you're interested.
  18. I ordered a pair of those off the website this afternoon with the discount code and they were £16 delivered! Bargain!
  19. 5400 lumens each supposedly... But they are from China! 😂 I'm happy with them for what they cost
  20. 2 days! Great service! I just hooked one up to a battery... My god it's bright! 😲
  21. http://www.voilamart.com/240w-epistar-voilamart-led-work-light-bar-spot-flood-combo-beam-offroad-suv-lamp Try that link Jon for the 42" light bar. Enter the voucher code and save a further 8%. I can't see a 36" lightbar on their website but it maybe there with a bit of searching.
