  1. Hope to get do do some more of this type of wrk & time to document it in some way. Look fwd to more of your posts on this subject.
  2. I agree, but for all the ISA do they don't seem to have the same sort of acreditation in the UK that they deserve:confused1:
  3. Hi Paul, I fully understand the need for self promotion & that is an integral part of any business & assosiation to keep the message alive. Sitting back & thinking the AA will do the rest is just plane daft. It,s just that I have been told of some co,s without an AA acreditation are going about with the AA lable on their vans & promotianal paper's with an aparant 'we can't do alot about it responce'. Along with the platform of the bbc prog featuring bad tree wrk that seemed a fantastic way to get the message accross to the masses? I guess £ is a big factor in alot of problems encountered? I know these are simple points voiced by a simple person, but I belive our industury is worth far better promotion to the masses from the likes of assosiations like yourselfs. Please feel free to pm me with the put downs ect that you can't put out hear:thumbup1: Thank you for your responce
  4. Cool mate. See you Friday. Not sure of the theam yet..

  5. Not a chance! you know the thought police are hear;) It's all b£y the book!!
  6. I have come across a good few co's resantly that are asking themselfs arb or not to arb? Most have already the AA aproval & are wondering if the re assesment is worth the £ for the re-assement let alone the extra £ they are told to cough up every time the re-assesment comes up, for what seems a £ project to futher themselfs 'profesionaly' & line pockets! Is anything actually done to promote the co's with the AA lable? I have not seen anything iom! The co's that are wanting to go for this farsical (imo) aceditation are working very hard at up date their paper wrk. I understand the need for this, but a little back up pro wise in all aspects would be good! I as a subbi have not come across this for the most part & find an increacing discontent among the ranks for lack of suport & back up in issues. I welcome any shoot downs & harsh comments:001_tongue:

  11. Did a quick zip with a gash pull line & used forks on the branches & grounds man on the end pulling ect to control desent rate. Same sort of thing, over a line of undergrowth that would have been a git to lob over. Simplez:001_rolleyes:

  16. 14mm lower line, one of them blue non bearing blocks, some 25kn steel 2 way crabs, asorted lenghth & strengh slings & keep adding on as & when you can. If you sub alot think about your lower kit, as this mite say that the co without a good kit prob don't have much experiance with your set up let alone any other!, so be prepard for a bumpy ride! LOL.

  20. You can take a horse to the water eh..Nice fun job to get into & well executed. Better to get a tree taken down by someone good at their job than by some numpty who dosn't think to much.
  21. Yuck! Not the sort of reduction in redness anyone wants:sneaky2: I would imbrace a program of dog walker anhialation in any public space to. Pleanty of vantage points me thinks:thumbup:
