  19. Amazingly, despite my propensity for taking pictures I only took the one of the lime and it's not all that exciting. Albere at about 15ft from the top of the 120' tree. There are a couple of others from yesterday on Adam's UK gems thread
  20. I think it fills a void in collective knowledge and shared information. It's certainly in the right place at the right time. I wrote the review on that link btw

  23. We didn't drop a SJ in the end, couldn't find one to be donated. We did however drop the LJ with interesting results. http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/video-forum/51093-will-lockjack-work-srt.html There should be a follow up vid to this one in the pipeline, filmed from the ground, showing more of the type of impact or deceleration of the drops. Hitch wise, that's a massive can of worms, have you read the http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/climbers-talk/36682-rope-wrench-feedback.html thread?
  24. Yep, good work Donny & co http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/arborist-reviews/51020-best-practises-srt-arboriculture.html

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.
