  1. Only for getting up there on big jobs, energy efficient! Try to have a rope in before going up though, don't feel safe otherwise. Never cut from them
  2. Is it when its cold? We have the same trouble with a teleporter, usually a good heat will get it going but if not jump it. Only happens during the winter, other times of year it starts just fine
  3. My thoughts every year. One snowflake and the country is up in arms! My old girl used to live in Belgium and drove cars with chains on the wheels in the winter
  4. Probably should have done before she went on her wobbly way!
  5. Stump grinding on a roadside bank, on a university campus in the snow today. 20mph speed limit, all chapter 8 signing conformed to, long straight road so plenty of visibility. An old woman on a knackered moped comes skidding into work area, nearly hits the guvnor, then shouts at us telling us we should be clearing the roads, not digging holes!!!!
  6. Worked better than I expected considering its 9 years older than me! It was a good job (mostly) coppicing in "the most bio diverse woodland in Norfolk" just wasnt very good when a tree got dropped on an 026
  7. You liked the last one so much here are another couple! Got let down by a tractor at the last minute so in stepped the daily run around of mine. The other option was a certain brand new non descript jap type but the boss didnt want to risk it! Only just managed to get it in the woods, but it spent all day dragging 10-12 metre sycamore out, usually full of 2m lengths of the same.
  8. We do clearance for hi-line (BT subbed) and its always generally been that if you report a fault on the line hi line get someone to clear it, no charge to the home owner. Don't know how it works on customers property, but boundary trees and hedges are usually covered by hi line.
