  1. Woohoo! Nice one Steve:thumbup: Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  2. Dogs or bumper spike I'd guess? Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  3. You can't buy them. Individually, they have no ce mark, only as a whole harness, so its not possible to sell them in the UK. You can replace them if you send the whole harness off to Lyon, through a dealer ie jonsies. So for your use, it doesn't look viable Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  4. Yeah, it doesn't look an ideal match to me, like Geoff said. It would be better to have something between them like a mallion. I used to use a ring to ring saver with a pulley and mallion attached to the little ring, worked a treat but wasn't adjustable length.
  5. Not unless he's got Arran bound and gagged. I can verify Arran's existence as a separate entity to tuttle:001_tt2:
  6. Pop a little mallion in between the hitch cord and pulley mate
  7. That's a fair old trek isn't it? Couldn't wait for the next day delivery Joe?
  8. Did you boys go over to Andy's for a climb then? Only realised what day it was when I woke up, doh!
  9. Apologies for the quality, I was planning a lunge shot, but it's very hard to get a lunging self portrait! Lovely quality jacket, nice drawstring bottom. I was expecting a big logo but it's only got a little sawpod peice on the zip. Thanks Tony and Di at Sawpod:thumbup:
  10. Well put:thumbup: Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

  14. Depends what you mean by groundy. Is it someone passing time, itching for the glory of climbing, or a pro groundsman? The first, I'd base it on what they can prove they're worth, the latter, thinking of this with someone in mind, I'd happily give 150 a day for what he can do, the knowledge he brings and the fluency of his work. I can see others scoffing but imo a good groundsman is the keystone of a team and can be a lot of the time, more important than a good climber Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  15. Its a good idea mate, and very thoughtful of you but...do you have the correct insurances to effectively employ someone? Not meant in any way as a dig at you, but I'm aware this isn't your only type of work Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  16. Looks a bit sharp on the pic of the top hole mate, is that the case? Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  17. Poor old thing is retired now, too many hi velocity redirects and drop testing. It was a fine tool in its time! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  18. Walnut stem. 3'6" across the hinge Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  19. I've got the top on my sequoia srt, it sorts that problem out and is doubly useful in a mewp. Really comfy. Not sure if you can get the attachments for a top on the seat version though
  20. Hence the t in the title:D Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  21. Haha, maybe it is lower then! Looked in the catalogue, only the 650,660 and 88 have higher vibes than the 150. I suppose in terms of exposure it's less though, as you don't exactly have the saw in your hands non stop up the tree
  22. I agree with most of that. Not sure about the vibes though, I think it has one of the highest ratings if any stihl saw. One handing is usually down to user inclination, so the same could be said of any top handle. I do see where you're coming from with regards to the weight though. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  23. Nice one, I'll do it now Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
