  1. You'll also need trousers and helmet. Boots are a personnel choice, depends how much you want to spend really, and whether youre going to be climbing or not.
  2. I will be calling them and asking to explain how the price in the directory (that I picked up on 120110, and that they said was correct) is so far off the price theyve just sent me.
  3. Its the fact that the fess have doubled in less than a month. Not impressed.
  4. Have these changed this year? I have the Merrist Wood directory and it shows the fees for the cs 30/31 course as £110, Ive just had my registration forms through and I now find out its £110 plus £126 I think I need to look at becoming and assessor at these kind of daily rates (4x£236)
  5. Dont let them near your fags either, they have a really bad habbit from what Ive seen But in all seriousness, theyre hounds, so take to a scent and wont leave it, plus they are pack animals, so like to be with other dogs.
  6. Stopped by the shop today to get a helmet and some gloves for my forthcoming course at Merrist Wood. Great service, good prices too. Thanks very much HB
  7. Brilliant Just had Merrist Wood on the phone, looks like Im booked in for mine in two weeks:ohmy: Where did you download the schedules?
  8. Crate him in the truck, make sure hes dry, and has a good warm bed. My working Cocker wears a Barbour jacket when I leave her in the vehicle between drives or when Im working one of the other dogs, but she only wears this on cold, wet days. She may look silly, but shes got a very fine coat and works like a nutter so has no fat on her. This way I keep her alive, and fit. Working Cockers have been known to die in the cold and wet when working, due to huge drops in their blood sugar levels. These little dogs give 110% every time they are out.
  9. Would be good to meet up mate, just got to kick Marlins butt to get up to it Looks like the 12th for us
  10. Got to love a terrier!!!!!! I'll have mine there, unless she's in season
  11. Thanks. Can we bring the dogs? Looks like a good, family day out
  12. Is this a one day event? I know the dates say its on for two days but the end time is shown as Saturday, 12th June at 05.00!!! I guess it could be an allnighter though 12th Arborists' Trade Fair 2010 | Facebook

    Jokes???

A rather ugly man walks into a pub with a big grin on his face, and orders a beer. "What are you so happy about?", asks the landlord. 'Well, I'll tell you,' replies the ugly man. 'As you know, I live by the railway line. Well, on my way home from the pub last night, I noticed a young woman tied to the line, just like in the films. Of course, I went and cut her free, and took her back to my place. Anyway, to make a long story short, I scored big time! We made love all night, all over the house. We did everything: me on top, sometimes her on top, every position imaginable!' 'Fantastic, you lucky bastard!', exclaimed the landlord. 'Was she pretty?' 'Don't know. Never found her head.'

    Cold feet

Very true, but its part habbit, part addiction. Either way, it needs to be broken.

    Cold feet

I dont get painfully sore hands, cold yes, but thats it. My boots (Elten Fellsman xpert) are fairly loose tbh, and dont feel like theyre pinching my feet. I do only wear one pair of thinnish socks in my walking boots, maybe theyre the root of the problem

    Cold feet

Ive always had cold feet, but this winter seems worse than previous years. Im now getting chill blains on my toes I usually wear two pairs of socks in my work boots (one thin pair, one thick pair) but it doesnt seem to be making any difference. My feet arent getting wet, just poor circulation I think. Does anyone else suffer from this? What do you do to combat it?
  20. But its not greenlaning, its off-roading. The two are miles apart. One requires road legal, mot'd and taxed vehicles driven by people with insurance and a driving licence, the other doesnt. Have you considered contacting your local ALRC club and seeing if they wish to hire the venue for a couple of weekends a year to run trials? Personally I think 5 acres is way too small for a P&P site, I'd be very bored within 30 minutes, and thats using the Discovery on road tyres.
  21. Brilliant, got to get one of those just so I can get a free one after breaking it. Bet the small print will now include a clause against fish tank impacts!!!!!
  22. Nothing here either, I think the met office are just grabbing at straws with whats going on.
  23. Yes, shes pure Patterdale, Nuttal lines. I rehomed her from Huddersfield, got to see the Dam too (who was black). Her colour is a four generation throw back. A mate helps out on Lurcher Link doing home checks, and she came up on there just over a year ago.
