  3. ''I have no idea how these compititions are judged, but was a little taken aback at how little of the rather large log was left by the time some of the compititors had finished, and I think they should definately be marked down for that'', I thought that to but there is a better chance of selling at the auction, as 1 piece was described by the auctioneer flat pack and fit in the back of a car ( changed by the artist to estate car! ) owl bench with squirrel the one I refer to some v. good pieces of work there I bid on a few but only went home with one of the speed carves, unfortunately I have no pics of any of the show this year disappointed with myself for that, just got tractor back of the low loader time to relax

  8. no probs Ed, see you at the APF if not b4 cheers for now, set up quiet no audience peace before the storm
  9. I had not realised how tiring it can be attending a show and manning a stand doing demonstrations, we have supplied the mog to a few APF shows, and will be at this years with the stump grinder, but new experience using machinery with audience and questions, some of the questions you get are can be a bit random! More enquiries asking if the stump grinder can be used for cable laying than any other! How do you make paper, loads of children wanting to feel and play with saw dust ( sales opportunity here? ) not 1 person wanted to buy any timber though. Thanks for the vid Ed, note must not talk when others are taking footage.

  13. I to have asked this question and as far as I know there is no system , record, police, insurance or otherwise to record or list stolen small plant, an opportunity for computer minded folk to set 1 up ! I’m sure there will be sponsorship from the ? insurers to help fund this ( I have even suggested this to a computer person not a long way from here) I would be happy to make an enquiry to check before buying 2nd hand and also to check other items I was suspicious about, I am sure police would be helped by such a facility
  14. thanks for your feed back, I will let you know how we get on, if we do , a bit near the APF to go without looking at the options? cheers J
  15. Nick will be at a p f , so will we , see you all there cheers J
  16. Jonny 69 I’m tempted to say I don’t know what you are talking about but, I was afraid that an answer like yours would be the only 1 I got back ! heavier and longer than out other chipper, rear rather than side entry for brash, but …… also cant find any info on it slightly worrying
