  3. you'll have a job to beat it, possibly jenson 141 or bigger?
  4. as above From experience nock back is usually caused by wrong angle on the chipper blade but infeed force is required on tp / ducker to keep them going, the 760 is usually more hungry than say the later style 200 etc. the blade seems to eat better , check both sharp feed rollers are a must for efficient through put. top roller some times get stuck up with shards of wood , good luck

  10. Yes work well but as with all mulching the bigger the diameter the more power required. Resale values on good machinery is high, but look at the cost of new ! and you see why, if going for reverse drive check how easy it is to operate the hydraulic controls and or have remote levers to operate spool valves
  11. Elmia Wood | Elmia Any one going or hoping to? Or know of organised trip to the show . I would like to get to see this show this year if possible , guess getting a trade supplier to treat me to it would be best!!

  15. ''quality is made here.. go and look in the greenmech factory on there next tour.. Agreed but that's woodchippers not firewood machinery. '' ___________on the factory tour I think we saw components being made on contract for the fuelwood range of fire wood processors _______but unfortunately agree with lack of uk manufacturing, we should be making more of the exchange rate situation

  17. expensive gear bit thingy &, broke the one next to it went through block

  22. Brilliant Eddie good 1’s I find it very therapeutic to get a little project sorted now and again we had a nice reaction to the delivery’s although I understand 1 of the herd has under gone some surgery! A minor amputation have been trying to sort out an oak beam fire surround today but back to reality tomorrow cheers for now
  23. A day of light hearted construction, instead of the usual Monday commercial idiocy, in the front drive resulted in the delivery of the latest herd to family and friends:001_smile:
  24. For past info on Jake plates if you put ‘jake’ and ‘crane’ into search there are posts on here from the past, there is restriction in the lift on some implements such as winches but I find chippers and mulchers most fit under and lift high enough . With all crane feeding there is a risk of loading unwanted material into the hopper, good vision of loading area and using a tined brash grapple will help but inevitably you will always load something you wished you hadn’t ! I did a set of blades in my Hiezohack last week without finding what it was went through.
