  7. When I first got my Vito it had a row of three seats in the back. I rang up an insurance company to sort some out and they said because it was a six seater it would cost me £1200 TF&T!!! Asked how much it'd be if I took them out and it came down to £400. Took seats out and sold them on the bay for £490 so all was good. Give your insurance a ring before you go and buy anything for it and ask.
  8. yeah no worries rupe, i'll make sure all is done to the correct points. I think it may be the case that i can just take a few limbs off to the main side limb without the tree looking silly or out of balance. It realy isn't very much that has to come off.
  9. no TPO or anything. It may be fine and she'll let me climb it, it's just that he said she's a bit of a 'funny one', so i thought i'd better know what i was talking about..
  10. Cheers, I thought it was something like that. He's going to pop round and see if they mind me climbing it to do the work that's needed. If not, I'm not sure how to do it! It's far to high for a ladder and silky and no way of getting a mewp round there?
  11. What's the law concerning trees that overhang other peoples gardens? Are you allowed to prune back anything that comes into your garden? A chap know is having all the sun bloked from his garden by the neighbors big wheeping willow. It's only a few branches, am I ok pruning them back for him?
  12. Hiya Nick Where in Sheffield are you based? Tatar Geraint
  13. I broke a two of mine a couple of months ago, they went with a right pop! Got told about the breathing too so try and keep that normal. Load up on painkillers and don't go to mad at work. Mine took about 3 weeks to feel strong again.
  14. Happy belated birthday Bob:001_smile:

  16. I'll second that, got the cordless set and it wicked - used to blast throung building roofs and stud walls with mine.
  17. Cheers buddy, hopefully things will pick up for me and for you soon:biggrin: Maybe I should change my name to Forrest Gump on here - run Forrest run:lol: It has been crossing my mind about the rings. Google touchwoodrings and have a gander at theirs. Mine aren't quite as good as his yet but I've only made three of the new sort (two if which are yours:thumbup1:) so they will be soon. If I could get a 1/4 of the money they want theirs when I get better I'd be rich haha Hope you're well too bud and see you soon:001_smile:
  18. Hello there I've got no work from next week onwards so was wondering if anyone in the Sheffield/South - West Yorkshire/Derbyshire areas have anything going please? I've got CS30/31/38/39, PPE, climbing kit, ground saw and 200t. I'm very reliable, very hard working (run everywhere), a fast learner (only need telling once), us my own initiative and I'm a polite and a happy chap. I'm eager to move forward and I assess the way I work to make it better each day. I've been working with trees for just under a year - but I have been a real hard grafter all my life. Thanks for having a looksy as this and fingers crossed. Ger (Geraint)
  19. Happy birthday Rupe. Are we going to get a helmet cam vid of your party:001_smile:

I've just added one called ivideo camera. It gives your 2g or 3g a video camera and it quite good. There are a few different effects, the old camera one's cool. Worth £1.19 for sure. You can also upload straight to the book and tube.

    Hi

Hello bud, try sending an email asking about the funding to [email protected], I think that's where all my forms came from. Also the chap I did my training with is Andrew Morton, he's a nice fella and I'm sure he'll be happy to give you some advice. As i say, he sorted out all the paper work for me because he said it saves time, so i can't really tell you about that bit. As your business is gardening I'm sure you'll have no worries saying that you need to get your chainsaw tickets. I was a plasterer so I had to change my business name from plastering to Construction to justify the use of saws for clearing land to build on. I'll PM you Andrews number, not sure if I'm allowed to put other peoples numbers on here!?
