  2. No didn't get a PM mate? Im pleased they were of use your more than welcome to have them as I no longer have that type of trailer and don't like to see them gathering dust when someone can make good use of them.
  3. There are some old folk in our village the generation that worked with my Grandad that would happily give you what you wanted even there last bean if you were the sort to take it! even tho they need it most, Ive got alot of time and respect for the older folk its the thieving scum that steal working mans tools, set alight to peoples landrovers etc and have never done a days graft in there life!! They are the lowest of the low IMO An old boy trying to get some firewood give him a break! yeah i can understand someone taking your cord that you have left neatly by the roadside but someone foraging to keep warm is different IMO
  4. Agree! Not sure its that GREAT now britain Whatever you do dont call the police as they are likely to sue you if they trip on a branch!! What the hell is that all about they are issued with a flashlight so ruddy well use it! Still feel sorry for the old boy irrespective of what he was actually doing, If an old boy stopped and asked me for some wood and looked desperate i would have gave him some, Thats proabably someones Dad, Grandad etc still very sad.

  10. Absolutely! surprising what a good chat can lead to work wise. I normally only deliver 2/3 days a week so cram as many drops in as I can. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  11. Time is money if you did 8 drops in an 8 hour day you would spend 4 of those hours standing chatting My customers lay a tarp out and i tip on there.

  13. Appreciate where your coming from I started with a basic pickup which Ben had from me! Not saying run before you can walk but when your in a position for a tipper they are worth every penny IMO Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  14. That's terrible! Hope the fuel can explodes in there face next time they try it!! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  15. I would say it does as you can easily do an extra load or three a day with a tipper, Most of my drops I hit the tip button take the cash and straight back to the yard to reload. When its cold and wet I don't want to be on the back of the truck kicking logs out! If you do 3 extra loads a week @ say £120.00 a load x 16 weeks in winter that's £5760.00 x that by 5 years soon adds up! You can also offset the cost against your tax plus your vehicle will be more desirable when you come to sell it. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  16. Ben as you know I had been using a standard pickup and hand balling logs for long enough. Since buying my tipper I would NEVER go back to that again its worth every penny IMO! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  17. Looks good Shane, I think fencing is a great side line especially in Winter. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

  23. I use mine alot for trimming mainly, They leave a superb finish on leylandii and privet as said anti vibration not that great but the new 56 is suppose to be alot better? I have bent the blades on one before trying to cut too bigger stuff but that was my fault not the cutter!
  24. Yeah your probably right, They won't be getting any further business from me, Saying that my little log ad with a link to the website did bring in a fair bit of business this winter. Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
