  1. its an unusual pattern, will have a look around but its not screaming anything obviously entomological to me at the moment. do you have Parakeets around? pigeons as have already been suggested may be possible but dont know wether they eat ash leaves or not, but it is most likely IMO at the moment.

  3. nice, got loads of Cabbage whites visiting, can almost tolerate the catterpillars on me brassicas! blooming nature its like a love hate thing with me now as ive veggies!
  4. 100% one I manage a lot in the Bucks and Herts areas, nothing too stressfull, usualy just a case of reducing the tree aiming for longer term retrenchment (making it shoot lower down and internally and over a protracted period, say anything up to 100 years making it a much more stable form) Theres a tree in Bradgate deer park and one in Ashridge park that has outlived the fungus entirely, I wouldnt class this as anything but the weakest of all the major heart rots

  9. I dont need violins, awesome pee take though, just my style! im way to cocky to care a monkies whether I passed it or not! its the costs that are getting to me, not the embarrassment! having to self fund all my CPD and it aint cheap, every over spend is another thing I cant now do.

  11. Broccolis been going nuts, three massive bags in the freezer and now cropping for a second time! cant eat the darn stuff fast enough! and now with the first early spuds (Duke of York) Im well set for months! Got to say i had forgotten just how satisfying and flavour full this old lark is!

  15. cause of the armillaria attack will be the dysfunctional wood associated with that massive wound.
