  1. Don't let Lord Jeffrey Archer and the fragrant Mary hear you say that.
  2. Whenever there's a chance for a double entendre, we can always rely on you to slip one in.
  3. :adore: Truly we are not worthy, Master.
  4. Certainly works well.
  5. All done. Should show up within 24hrs.
  6. Where do I send the money, Steve?
  7. Both my parents are in their 80s and continue to remain active. They both enjoy their gardening and would be horrified if I suggested they stopped and got a gardener in. My dad used to shin up the ladder to top out his conifer hedge until about 7 years ago.
  8. Honda battery strimmer looked ok and wasn't heavy. Don't know how much they are and I'm guessing that you need to buy the battery separately.
  9. Other half's dad got some Honda battery stuff when he bought a new ride on mower recently. I'll have a look when I'm over there today and let you know what they are like.
  10. I've got a Stihl FS45 that I use in the garden. Good strimmer, SWMBO says it's light and it has a shoulder strap to make it easier to carry.
  11. Kick a man when he's down, why don't you?
  12. It's a cross I have to bear.
  13. I actually think I could be anorexic. Apparently, one of the symptoms is thinking you are very overweight when you look in the mirror.
  14. You're like me, Mark. We're not overweight, just underheight.
  15. Always a shame when a fellow arb passes but especially when they are a young parent. Sympathies to all affected by this sad event.
  16. I'm afraid it had to be scrapped when it was surgically removed from my arse shortly after that pic was taken.
  17. Ecological Arb work showing low impact timber extraction.
  18. At least you didn't get stung, I suppose. Plus you know you have done something good.
  19. Nice work, Wolfie. I read in the Times yesterday that hives are getting stolen these days so there must be some money in it all.
  20. Are you saying that you need repeated tugging to get started?
  21. Sure that wasn't Boris?

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.

If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.
