  1. Could be worse. Could be Ipswich.
  2. Looks like you got it worse than us, mate. We're hoping it holds off until we get back from seeing Billy Bragg in Chelmo later.
  3. The lemmings had beaten me to it in Maldon.
  4. I have a magnetic LED lamp that I stick on top of my truck and plug into the cigar lighter in the back. Makes a real difference.
  5. Collins do a good tree ID book which you will probably find cheapest on Ebay or Amazon. There is an Arborist's guide for pests and diseases which is good, and a Tree Amenities group one as well. For the rigging, the ISC book I mentioned is great. I don't climb but it helped me greatly as a groundie in understanding the climber's end of the rope. I have a little sort of flip book of plastic coated cards for knots in my rigging bag which is a handy reference. I think I got it from F R Jones but I couldn't swear to it. Hopefully somebody else can help with suggestions for books on climbing.
  6. It's addictive so make sure you have an idea of what you want to learn first.
  7. Used to be the charcoal of choice for gunpowder too, IIRC.
  8. Any Claus Mattheck tree titles, Jeff Jepson's 'To fell a tree', ISC's 'Art and Science of Practical Rigging' and so on. Have a look for some old threads on here for more suggestions. Arb Association website book shop is a good place to start also.
  9. We must move in different circles, sweety.
  10. Says the bloke with the pink lighter on the dash.
  11. I'm not sure which part you don't understand about my lack of interest in your opinion. I really don't care what trolls think. As to what my signature says, you are capable of using Google so I don't feel the need to do your research for you. You are too tedious to continue with. Goodnight.
  12. The problem here is that you seem to have me confused with somebody who values your opinion. By the way, congratulations on your new best seller.
  13. If you think that of me then I know I must be doing ok.
  14. Likewise if Mr Janey did.
  15. My biggest fear is that I die suddenly and she sells them for what I told her they cost.
  16. They're very fine people, apparently.
  17. I'm fortunate in that Mrs Felix doesn't go anywhere near the gun cabinets and therefore neither misappropriates any guns nor spots any new additions.
  18. Always nice to get an expert opinion.
  19. I think the oxy is superfluous.
  20. You said it 3 times and he turned up. Cause and effect.
  21. I see my reputation precedes me.
  22. There's not much mine won't shove in 4 low.
  23. Horses for courses, mate. I only run the one vehicle so I don't want the size of a Transit when I'm subbying and the trailer not only suits for delivery/collection(plus it has a better capacity) but will hold its value nicely.
  24. I use an Ifor TT2515 with cage sides behind a Trooper. It holds 4 cube exactly and is nice and manoeuvrable.
