  2. i run a 30l iveco we also have a astre van and kangoo 4x4 ,for running about good mpg and cheap all round on parts etc ,if you [need a 4x4 ] whitch does complemnt a tree busines then fair enough ,but there all pants on fuel and cost £££ on tyers and running compared to small vans ,i used to run a landy tipper and it was shocking to drive compared to my hilux i have now . most landys are 3050 kg gvc wich is almost half a ton off your canter ,and not a class 7 mot . a landy is no thing to be running round pricing work in imo ,
  3. a good grinder is hard to find ,hens teeth infact ,save your money and go for a danequip there 27 inch wide ,mine goes any where and there just over the 2000 mark second hand ,try earborist if arbtalk fails to throw one up

  5. i have never thrown a negative comment on this forum before so here goes ...what a pile of rubbish comments ! £50 to chip for an hour if your local or at the end of the days work is bang on , if i could do 5 of them a week thats an extra 250 a week ,some of you guys i just dont understand ,we should be glad of little earnrs such a 50 pound here and there ,and helping out some one on here at the same time

  9. I have the astra sport ,its great to drive 150bhp and gives about 45 mpg to its not the most roomy of vans but it only carrys my butt and a few saws and climbing kit

  13. Hey guys and girls had the worst day today ,my dog got run over by one of the boys who works for us ,if you take your dogs to work be extra care full ,she was a 27 week old border terrier and i feel as if my life has been turned upside down
  14. my uncle is a stihl dealer and i have had a go of the new electric saw ,i was shocked on how good it was if i am honest ,but the 017 entry level saw does have more go than it ,but it is super light and i do mean light ,its noisy as heck ,yes i did say noisy you will need muffs belive it or not
  15. plant can be insured /taxed ,i see dumpers on the road a fair bit as long as there going from one site to another ,17 year old lads and big kit on the road dont mix imo
  16. if it has a chipper on it or a crane ,or a lift ,its a piece of plant
