  6. i have had a pants full of advising clients on what to do of late ,i say 25 % they wont 75 % ,i seen a big sycie the other day and i would not have climed it let alone 30 % reduction like they wonted ,how it was still standing is beond me ,the same with fire wood ,oh hi there ...yes its hard wood ,oh yes its been drying for a minumum of 12 months ...how much is it ? £45 per cubic metre .....pause .... or thats expencive have you anything cheaper ??? ummmmmm no

  8. i went to pay so some shopping the other day and pulled a screw out of my pocket by mistake and said ....fancy a screw
  9. yes i have build 3 sheads out of poles and done all the work apart from the digging and ground work ,will post pics tomorow

  15. you need it on film mate !set a movment camera up and film them ,then bribe them for all the cash for the wood ,then shop them to the law
  16. i would put a pully up in the tree to the right of the fallen one and bit by bit ,nice dry feet ,or if there is a tree behind even better
  17. well not alot of people turned up ,me rob and i think lyn did but the weather was very poor today so it wil have to be arranged for another day . on the flip side me and rob did have a walk to look for the best trees to climb . Found a great spot to have a 100 foot plus swing over the river
  18. what else do you do nick ? im into everything but tree work is all i know and suck at most other things ha ha

  20. the best way to learn the tree trade is to work for someone untill you feel ready have have the skills to go it alone ,pricing is easy its all on time scale taken equals what you what to earn and costs encounterd to be coverd etc
  21. well done on getting you certs ,that is your first step in the right way ,reductions ,to be done right take more than cs 30 ,38,39 etc ,making sure your tree has the correct cuts and in the right place etc . if its your first job dont be quick to slap on the £'s . Make sure its done right ,and so on and so on ,and the rest will follow .just try and cover your costs on the first few jobs unless your quite sure your capable of doing a spot on job
