  1. Agree to the work? What on spikes to do a reduction? Seriously?
  2. Can I share the photos on my Tree Facebook page with a credit of course?
  3. That's fantastic:thumbup:. And thanks for the resurrection.
  4. Thanks for all your kind offers Gents. I have passed all details on to my friend so she may or may not be in touch I guess. Much appreciated.
  5. I think it's a good idea. Unfortunately there isn't long to get a decision overturned. I really feel for the old boy, he must be gutted. Councils are a joke some times staffed by morons.
  6. Ha ha I noticed that. I want his coat though when he clogs it.
  7. He sshould go and photograph all the Council trees and hedges and bushes that cause a nuisance due to lack of management. I'm sure he'd find many examples
  8. Some people! There's loads of room on that path.
  9. Posted the gloves last Friday 1st class so he should have them. Messaged him to check if he has received but have heard nothing back. Sure he'd have got them ok.
  10. Probably took the money and said he would be back after lunch.
  11.

  13. Not sure. It's for a friends students. Any I guess.
  14. Brilliant. Could you PM me a number please? Many thanks:thumbup:
  15. Could you PM me a contact number please and I will get somebody to call you. Might be a bit far for them but I can pass on details. Thank you.
  16. Hi Jon. I'm not too bad thanks. A bit up and down day to day but getting on with it. The course is in Bristol so close by I guess. An hour or so's travel will be fine I'm sure. if you can help out that will be great.
  17. Hi I'm putting this thread up on behalf of a good friend of mine. If anybody would like to help out then please PM me. Many thanks. My Practical Sustainability students need some woodland to do a design on....only a 2 day exercise where they survey and come up with ideas for sustainable management, produce and other uses, education, community engagement. Preferably existing woodland but they can also plan to plant a new one. Anyone have any ideas of places close to Bristol that could do with some input. They're not experts so might be useless but good to have fresh eyes and a permaculture perspective. Will produce a 2 page report for your perusal at the end. Many thanks.
  18. I agree with David... Perfect tree for tear cuts, fractures, coronets etc. at least it's a monolith however.
  19. Top man. Nice one Jon. Catch up soon.
  20. Just out of interest, if you are walking to work with crutches what do you do once there? How do you work?
  21. Hi mate. I've worked on big council contracts for Arb Approved companies and they have been a joke. Shabby equipment, being sent out on jobs with hardly any signage. They are then given God knows how much notice until the next inspection and on that day we all had brand new signs, first aid kits and signs etc. Arb approved companies should not be notified of an inspection. It should be a spot check so they can really prove their worth!!!
