    The woodland behind was predominantly birch with a scattering of other broadleaves. There were also scots pine. Had a great day there with the Ancient tree forum. Am resizing pics etc so will share as soon as.

    I've been wanting to see one of these for ages as its been a very long time since i saw one.....and even then it was an old one. Yesterday however i finally came across a beauty in Windsor Park. This is one stunning funghi!!

  8. Pleurotus cornucopiae quite feasible as it does favour elm. Smells faintly of aniseed so give it a whiff!

  12. Heres an an oak with some interesting biomechanics.....particularly like the black faced monkey in the bottom left corner.......or is that just an effect of the mushrooms i had for my tea....
