got reasonably good at doing it myself with a file but fed-up of slicing my finger !! If I kept cutting my finger I wouldn't say I was reasonably good at filing1 Wear gloves I have never cut my fingers while sharpening my chain. Never used any devises so just my unhelpful comments will have to do!

When I started I climbed on two ropes and still do on big trees. Smaller trees one rope and side strop. Not had to much trouble with my ropes getting stuck as I manage my ropes well. I don't see how climbing on two ropes can be dangerous.

Is anyone watching this film on channel 4? Or has anyone ever seen it? WTF???? Trees, shrubs, bushes and grasses releasing toxins and killing people!! If this could happen us lot would be the first to get it! Seriously what a ridiculous film! If you haven't seen the film sorry for spoiling it for you!

Rupe it must be a stock photo, I've just had another look and there is another ad on the same page that has the same photo of a bald guy but from a different angle. I would be well peaved off if that happened to me!

Very true Robert. We had someone out yesterday to unblock a drain, we had sewage coming out a man hole cover. The guy didn't even wear gloves when rodding he was even picking up bits of bog paper with his bare hands! ( The guy was from a big well known company as well ) You would hope joe public would know better but then we would live in an ideal world.
