  1. yer shame on him terrible thing to do that.
  2. yer i thought about the little stub when i was up there but came down see what it looked like and forgot about the little stub. work positioning was not a problem at all there was a few stubs left from previous work by someone so i stood on them and anchor point was right ontop of it.
  3. part of todays job was to remove this limb, because it had been sheding branches off it through the BT cable and blocking the driveway. since it was a biggish limb bout 15/20inch i thought id try leaveing a coronet instead of a normal cut. my first time doing it so any feedback welcome
  4. havent used ocean polyester but i no its expensive. ive had similar problem when i tryed Roblon 10mm double braid off slipped with everything i tryed. my mate had exactly same problem with that so i wouldnt recomend that cord.
  5. im lucky to have just started in the industry a few years ago. i would have to second you. it does better are industry its changed me certainly (for the better, i hope)
  6. definetly looks to clean and pointy that still give it a few years to rot down abit will look alright.

  12. i do some work for a bloke who did all council work and he used to just quote in his work clothes and they actually stopped useing him because of his appearance. so shoddy or not thats how it works round here.
  13. think it all depends on the sort of client it is, if its every day sort then just chainsaw trousers and company t-shirt clean if possible. but if you get into the big clients like council work and commercial clients i think smart is always best.
  14. what i like to hear, cant stand ivy. esspecially annoying when you dont do it and then go back in few years re-reduce it and its totally covered in ivy lol
  15. the right side of tree looks good though should be pleased with that was the ivy cut aswell?

  18. im no expert on this but if i ever had to do it i would break the job down tree by tree.
  19. good way to get down a hung up tree in forestry cutting lumps off till it falls not so good in that enviroment though lol
  20. i looked on the ladys profile who made the vid and there nothing else apart from this one so im guessing there isnt a part 2, unfortunatly.
  21. would have loved to have been let loose on that stick when i was there. do they teach you alot about coronet cuts?? was never mentioned when i was there maybe im just showing my age now lol
  22. is that the oak pole on he main drive through easton? near the big beech if so that is a fair sized stem.
  23. have got my guide for day and half day. just confused me abit when i was quoteing for this cause was so small i done no why they didnt do it them selfs, you couldnt put half day on it. i should make a tiny profit out of this one long as nothing goes wrong. good idea with getting rid of time wasters when they call up though have herd of people getting biten in the ass quoteing from pictures though.
