  1. alot of big trees around you stephen
  2. always follow up every single job no matter how big or small you never no who people know. and keep ontop of paper work from the start its a nightmare if you leave it everywhere i no that to well
  3. exactly what i said to groundy afterwards i needed gob it to that side to give it that bit of sideways away from the lower stubs or id have just gobed it straight forward.

  5. i used gareths 372 with heated handles and i was like im getting heated handles went straight to rouses traded my 372 in and bought 372xpg just need to make sure you cut the wire for the carb heater as if you have that on to long you will screw the saw up best to cut the wire for it so cant aciidently knock it on.
  6. its husqvarna 372XPG it was mega brittle for some reason every stem has had a snaped out limb on end of it at some point. the old 200t is reaching the pension age i think still does the job though

  8. i still have some 7/8ft lengths from earlier this month if anyone is interested. also a length of cedar is avalible just think there to good to be wasted as firewood!
  9. i had the honour of watching reg before i booked a crane for one of my jobs, he makes it look so easy, alot to live up to aswell after seeing him do it, but you learn so much by taking the plunge and trying it your self.
  10. in a ideal world you would reduce and brace so if/when it desides to fall off it wont do any/ or not as much damage to the gate but its a costly thing im finding out bracing.

  18. what type of wood are you cutting, as if its ash you will find it drys up the chain if its oiling or not.

  20. im from the internet generation it is easy to see how it can happen women are terrible at playing along with guys on the net, but still wouldnt think ud go shoot someone for it!
  21. trouble i find with just leaning back is its fine for slight leans. but when you get a decent lean, you have to go out so far that you cant reach the work properly.
  22. i no you can do the usual with your climb line running bowline choked off in such a way to stop you swinging around, but ill be keeping a eye on this thread im also very stuck when it comes to this.
  23. i bet you wouldnt even notice the difference in 390 and 395 theres only 5cc difference isnt there? on a big saw like them you wouldnt notice it i bet.

  25. or the customer is some hot shot with loads of contacts and you refusing to do it looses you a lot more work, you cant win you never know who people know.
