    I’ve been asked to become safe contractor registered for a management company I work for at a cost of £1400.00, else I can’t work so I paid the registration fee and spent three days filling in forms many more than once asking all sorts of irrelevant questions, then was told my insurance was not up to the correct standard, then had to employ a h&s management company to comply with the environmental and h&s requirements so a total cost of £2700.00 which I have invoiced plus 20 % plus vat all this for a job which was originally £700.00 now it’s £3240.00 and they have nothing to show for the extra cost except paperwork.

    I leave my bigger boys and girls at home you can’t fit 10 or 14 stone dogs in the front of a transit they have run of the house and garden the mrs is retired i take my spaniel most days very good van alarm

    I’ve yet to find a cage my big boy can get in let alone turn around, don’t agree with them in cages for long periods, if you need to keep a animal in a cage get a gerbil!

    Even if you off hire the machine you are still responsible for a reasonable time after the off hire, in the case of a twenty tonne digger it’s a week! Only if you return the tool yourself your responsibility ceases at the time of the off hire.

    Difficult I’d be looking for paint transfer on the genie, if not you need to find the trailer

    I would get a professional opinion with a site visit beech with meripilus will go over with no warning and virtually no wind, I would suggest the bomb is already ticking

    It’s never made any difference to my no claims or premium just £70 excess paid, and someone else has the hassle of fitting and they come to you!
