  1. Play em back to back and find out for yourself. You might like the cheaper one v the expensive, in whatever you do! I just got a $200 acoustic yamaha which is really nice! And I was playing Martins, Gibsons etc. (Obv not gonna spend that much!)
  2. Few things i noticed... Why leave stubs? Always cut as though you are making a pruning cut, avoids getting hang ups when rigging. Why make a notch when dropping the wood? A step cut is sufficient in those size pieces. Other than that you all went home in one piece which is what its all about!
  3. Fair play to the guy, honest, gutsy, bit of a pussy but Ill bet most other users on here are similar to him
  4. Haha mate, yes true! Keep it comin. I will try too....
  5. You're the man August! Sorry if you find response slow on here. its is what it is.

  7. Lucky btard. You should come out here and do some 'rigging'
  8. Glad you got the camera back mate. Looks like a solid addon.
  9. The apta is only $199. But this looks fun though
  10. Nz, oz, same sh1t right?
  11. Its a crying shame mate, but there is no want for wood here, there are places in NYC that salvage wood to make furniture with, but we just cut it up and dump it at the dump Backwards I know but what ya gonna do.
  12. Removed this last week, 4 load of wood! The brick patio and raised bed caused me concern for the big wood, but to make things easy we got some truck tyres and dropped it onto those, plywood and a pile of logs. No damage! No vid of the dismantle cos its just so boring! The money shot =
  13. Close. Plywood, 5 big truck tyres and some padding logs. See how it goes this afternoon
  14. Jon one day we will meet, you legend!
  15. Talking of a big stick Im felling this remainding stick tomorrow afternoon. Yeh I know Im looking sexy and all with my socks and shorts. How would you get this stick on the ground with no damage to the block paving? And no, no crane
  16. This thread really is a joke and is bringing out some real joker trolls. Shame. Youre gonna be dead in 40 years and cats will still thrive. Maybe they will take over the world eh? (unless the Chinese eat them all first?)
  17. If you can get a carlton over there, they are good machines.
  18. WTF!? If you shot my cat I would shoot you. Just sayin
  19. Metal detector!
  20. You walked under the stick at the end, you could of got squished
  21. Lol great thread. Yes he will be hapy with Geckos. They will last a lifetime. Buy him a rope wrench and a haas for xmas. Job done.
  22. I like to drink. It helps me sleep. Its summer, I live in New York, on the beach. Gawd it would be boring not to! Last week I went dry and for 2 niights could not sleep a wink, mind buzzing like crazy. Even tried melatonin to help sleep but it didnt happen., Functioned ok the nest day though. Moderation is where it matters boys. If it starts to become a problem and affect the way you handle life then its time to stop. Control it and dont let it control you!
  23. My Pantin fits nice and snug under my geckos... All Im waiting on is a HAAS. Nice idea with the replacement gaff though Dale. Send me one to test out if you like?
  24. Good vid.. I have 3 BIG truck tyres for dropping sticks on at the end of the job. Stacked up there is no damage to the lawn/yard/etc. 2 rigging points are essential in some of the jobs we do too. Good one
  25. Number 29 applies to you, but all points are excellent, and I have a hard time getting my Spanish crew to work as efficiently as they could do, but hey, its only treework.
