  12. I've been given a 100 year old pedal lathe, which I hope to do some wood turning on (be good exercise as well)! I've saved some wood from last year, was told to paint the ends with oil based paint to stop it from drying out too fast, but its still cracked!
  13. I find if you set out to carve something big, like a paddle, i end up with a spoon!

  18. Got to be stihl, reliable, well balanced machine and seem to have better quality materials. I'm not a fan of the new husqy design- having the fuel tank built into the rear handle, better if you can replace specific parts rather than large components!
