  2. Affraid not, its an MS 240! (money was a bit tight when I had to decide which stihl to go for!), stihl a brilliant saw....
  3. Hi all, I've been using a really old husqy chainsaw (which i bought for £24 ), there are no model numbers on it at all, but from what i've seen off the tinternet I think its a 162. I've been trying to set it up properly, but i've found the spark plug's insultation has broken so it covers the gap. It looks as if the electrode has burnt alittle, does anyone know the correct spark plug which should be in the chainsaw? It currently has a NGK BM6A. Here's a pic of the saw with my stihl. Any help would be appreciated! Dave.
  4. dont worry i wont put you through anymore of my bad jokes.....
  5. Hi Jonesie,

I dont know if you've seen my thread on the climbing section, but i'm new to climbing and haven't got any equipment. UNP-Buck recommended you, and i was just wondering what sort of prices full kits were and which pieces of equipment you'd recommend?

    Many thanks

    Dave.

  6. Cheers for the advice, much appreciated! I think a trip to Buxtons is in order to try some harnesses! As standard kit goes, how many ropes and karobiners etc am i looking at? Cheers Dave.
  7. Hi all! I'm new to this forum and to tree climbing, i've been doing ground work (chipper and tree felling etc) but i'm thinking of venturing into the trees! What sort of gear would you reckomend i need to just do beginners tree climbing and which harness would you reckomend (i realise its personal preference, but just to see which harness to avoid), i've been told the komet butterfly harness with seat is a particually good one? Cheers Dave.
