  11. My sony a200k DSLR on quick shutter speed and lowered exposure pointed right at the sun, had the white balance on "cloudy +3" Sent from Rob's GalaxySII
  12. i'm stumped, nearest i can get is Cornus nuttalli, or possibly a weird lilac or maybe even Halesia diptera (but i doubt it:lol:) does it flower?

  14. I'm stuck! Can't find it in any of my books, think its some sort of Ilex but not sure?? It was in Portmeirion, near the edge of the woodland walk with no ID tag.

  18. Walking on the beach nr the campsite in Barmouth we came across what looked like rock pools, on closer inspection the "rocks" where soft and squidgy? Turns out they were actually remnants of a forest now submerged that covered the west coast of wales BBC Media Player (not sure if the link will work) you could still see the old tree roots presevred in the peat bed that was only viewable at low tide:thumbup: heres some pics
