  1. Now, of course, if they'd had a landy.............. They would've broken down before they could've got anywhere near that place.:001_tongue:
  2. Ah. Who do you use down your way BTW?
  3. Sorry mate, i'll get rid of the laptop i have got just clicking automatically on those ads........
  4. I have just fallen in love with my old vermeer again today, after changing a pulley making the flywheel spin at its proper speed again, and fire the chip miles, and chip faster. Happy days. Even making a pile of brash right next to the machine it now takes two of us to keep up with it.:001_smile:
  5. Thats exactly the point, and he doesnt often use smilies either, which doesnt help.
  6. The idea thet if you get it now you will be immune is yet another urban myth. People are even allegedly holding 'swine-flu' parties for the purpose of immunising themselves. It is also untrue that the virus will only kill those with underlying health problems, although people who are fit and healthy are less likely to die from it. We will not see the true strength of this virus until autumn comes, as it prefers cool damp air to thrive in. I dont think it is worth taking any risks with this, especially those of us who have children, esp young, who are at school with towny kids- these places are a hotbed of disease, and provide the perfect conditions for a virus such as H1-N1 to thrive.
  7. Are you using the canon bar with the dime tip and the1/4" sprocket, and have you ground off the back of the teeth on the chain to allow it to go round the bar nose ........or none of the above?
  8. Got to agree with marc there, Get to read a few more of Bobs posts before you take humbridge guys, I read it as being totally tongue in cheek.
  9. :001_tongue: Huck, you have hidden talents my friendLOL
  10. Nice ladders you have there John.
  11. Beautiful place mate!
  12. Join our coven stevie, you know you want to:scared1:........and from what jamie was saying, you could be one of the first up your way. They do pto ones as farmi i believe too.
  13. Ancient old vermeer 620i, which i have 'adjusted'. It now has a 32hp deutz as opposed to the 11hp kohler petrol. It is really really tough, and really really fast. I can put a 6" log in it and it doesnt bat an eyelid at full in-feed speed. It is reknowned for its narrowness, which does require thoughtfulness when on rough ground, but i wouldnt change it for anything. It hasnt let me down in 7 yrs! And only cost me £2000, which paid for itself in no time. If i do ever buy another it would be a vermeer or farmi (pto vermeer basically).
  14. Distel works really well with micro and lanyard.
  15. I bought mine in 2001:confused1:
  16. Yeah, that makita of yours surprised me mate. Very revvy, and i reckon a bit more torquey now it has had a bit more use. I did like going back to my trusted and fave saw ever....MS361. Could this be the perfect power/weight ratio, even with a 20" bar?
  17. Great vid there mike. Use the dog tooth fairly often recently especially working a load of sycamore on a steep slopre, many of which were leaning. Could've done with the finn cut on many of the smaller ones. Rowden, that spear cut, although unconventional, is extremely useful, esp on taking out leylandii hedges!!
  18. I get ads for penis enlargement............ :001_tongue:
  19. One sugar in tea, and more than i am prepared to admit to in public in my coffee..... white sugar in tea, brown in coffee.
  20. Wow, we love it here mate, that is awesome, really awesome.
