    Profits

What is this "profits" of which you speak, and where can i get some........
  2. Did he write this....Thank you for pointing this out to me i genuinely did not see that the saw was a fake, and ive removed it. Busted is the word i think he was looking for.
  3. Check this out.........VERY funny[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wc_7RWkfrrA]YouTube - Ooh Girl ! : An Honest R&B Song[/ame]
  4. Tjhanks for that- very interesting as he has quite a number of rhodys and azaleas, some of which he says were collected abroad recently and no-one is sure how they wiil look when they flower. Better not kill them then!! Some of them are suffering badly from strangulation from the grass basically, which was about 18" long in places, 3/4 the way up the plant:scared1: I will try to get some pics if you dont mind, as i am not really very knowledgeable on that sort of plant health.
  5. Hi guys. I have been working on a long drive for a long-time customer of mine, who has let the grass grow so long that me and another lad have been hacking it back for 6 days now. The thing is the drive has loads of really rare shrubs/ trees in it. My question is this. Are there any shrubs or trees that should not be mulched? There are several magnolia of various types which he says must not be touched, and the rest of the stuff is made from plants from round the world. I would be looking to use 2nd hand tree mats and >12month old woodchip. It is really just for weed control more than anything else, so that in future i can use the fs480 without having to go near the stems with the obvious associated risks. If there are any obvious ones i would like tpo know and i wil cross ref with what he has. Thanks a lot.
  6. Well done mate- as soon as i had written that post i thought of the advantages you have mentioned, and wondered if it was deliberate choice for you.
  7. John, shame you miseed that one. Dont listen to any sily words about reliability. These machines are absoloutely. sorryABSOLOUTELY bomb proof. You can fabricate a retro fit kit without any electronics at all. Nest week i am on two days with a machine (vermeer) which is used on training courses, and has a home-made safetybar. Ill try to get some photos. If another one somes up with a diesel then go for it, up to £2000 i reckon unless it is a total dog. They are so overengineered it is hard to describe. Unlike many other machines that will cost you 5 timews that figure new. Sorry i didnt get back to you sooner- i was getting wasted for 35th!
  8. Another fine job, brought to you courtesy of Shrek Productions Ltd. Nice one Stevie.
  9. I dont want to be the harbinger of doom, but i think? a 130 hi-cap butt isnt the same as a 110 hicap butt- its a bit shorter:001_unsure:
  10. Awesome tool. Got one with a 35hp deutz twin cyl diesel. Unstoppable power, will chip at full capacity a 6" log!!! Havent managed to tip it up yet tho!! Know a few down here who have them and wouldnt change. You certainly dont need no stress kit!:001_smile:
  11. Hacked it out with a saw, then tried various sanders, and loads of time rubbimg down with sandpape. Its not perfectly round, and it is ov varying thicknesses all over, but thats how i like em. And my bowls:sneaky2::001_tongue:
  12. Hahaha. Nice one:001_tongue:Forgot to mention that. I went through 2 screens in four months a couple of years back, so made that fold down thing, but TBH it was more hassle than it was worth so it got turned into somehing else after about a month. Looked quite cool tho. Actually, sorry, you're right. My secret is out, i wanna be a riot cop.
  13. Cheers. Quite a few hours. I did it very much bit by bit over a few weeks.
  14. If you could prove that there was a valid reaon for not wearing anything but a thong then so be it. PPE is best practise not law. Its the same old argument.
  15. I could happily spend that for that kind of experience i reckon.
  16. Thanks again for those pics. I really want a balloon ride now. I'm told that it is silent as you are moving with the wind aswell (obviously excluding burner sound!) What was the castle?
  17. Guys its all very flattering, the bowl is about 14" across. I have a friebd who likes arty furniture in London. Saw something similar, get this, £1200!!!!!!!! Mine is NOT for sale.:001_smile:
  18. Cheers mate. Bought the truck and spent nearly £400 i think to get the ifor top. I was damned if i was going to sell it at a loss, so i adapted the width by 3/4" wider with some ali angle stuff( nearly wrote ali angle-iron!!lol) I have resprayed the truck once, but cannot be bothered to sort out dents. I am with you on the 'its got to get anywhere' thing. It is a tool, and has to earn its keep.
  19. Awesome mate. Bit gutted though coz ithought i was being smart and not mentioning trees. Dang. Cool thread.
  20. Hip-hopapotamus.....class. Check out "ooooh baby" by them on youtube, a work of true genius.
