  1. That is an impossible question to answer mate. You will just have to bite the bullet and do the legwork, as no two quotes are ever the same even within the same company.
  2. I have got a 23hp B&S on my sawmill, and wished i had a Honda, until i was informed that there were 2 kinds of B&S and the kind i have got is as good if not better than Honda. As far as kohler are concerned, steer well clear of Flat twins, my chipper used to have one, very bad.
  3. Look on the right hand side of your screen abovr the trade ads, and there is a 2" square box with 'Trade directory', 'Classifieds' and 'Reviews'. Which mog you selling?
  4. Thanks, ill try it. Is it some sort of yellow pages or such like? :001_tongue:

    Mog

    LMFAO:001_tongue:
  6. Well done. That was the test i enjoyed the most out of all.......especially when he told me it was total textbook. That boosted my confidence.
  7. In a way , fair play to the man i reckon. Not a million years ago tree work was carried out without harnesses, hard hat, top handled saws etc etc. I dont think its right that we lay into every single person who cuts a tree who isnt trained. Cool thread Woodpicker.

    Mog

    Anyone know this Mog?
  9. or both, with some thrown in for good measure. Sorry to get off topic here everyone, but does anyone know of any tree surgeons in the south west?
  10. Zubat. It does what it says on the tin. Know what you mean though dean.
  11. I am selling my wonderful bit of kit with my 10' ifor tipper, as i am desperately in need of a unimog in my life. I am asking a large amount for the rig, but it is in far better condition than most out there, being maintained whatever the cost. It has only got a handful of its original bits on it, as everything has been replaced/ uprated in the time i have had it. Here is a pic, and the rest of the details can be found in the classified section.
  12. How dare you, that was me, and your missus said she wouldnt do anything with those pictures! :001_tongue:
  13. You've visited the site then mate!!
  14. Maybe thats where i have been going wrong all this time....and me a qualified user too. Pah!
  15. Denzel Pemburthy 'twas, i'm tellin'of'ee.
  16. Not only that mate, but you are actively encouraged in that direction-" go on , you've been taught, whats stopping you" attitude.
  17. That just sums it all up. I would love to know how they are going to pad it out into 2 daysLOL. Like all the training courese- licence to print money, and i have heard that from more than one training provider peeps, before anyone takes offence!:001_smile:
  18. Especially when one part is familiiarising yourself with the chipper in question( how to change blades, sort out blockage etc etc) and no two make and models are the same!
  19. Haha. I was on my climbing course and there was loads of neatly piled old, hence leaf free, radiata brash, and the instructor got us all through the Chipper course, basically by letting us have a go! All w had to know was what to do in pre-use checks, and not to stand directly behind the machine when feeding it!! Nonsense box ticking course. Love it.
  20. Who left- the groundie???? Does that mean we will never get to see these pics:scared1: Maybe NASA has some satellite imagery of that tree.
  21. Cool. Nice timber- we have been getting bits of that from the old Falmouth Dock piers. Heavy ain't it?
