  1. Be interesting to hear what it was Tom.
  2. That was a crying shame what happened to Brew mate:thumbdown:. He will be long remembered. I think they would think twice if met by Dodger mind!
  3. Good luck in your search mate!
  4. Booked up for January and february. I hope it carries on like this in 2010, as 2009 was a bit 'one week to the next'. I would love for some of my financial worries to slacken off, which given the amount of horses my missus now DOESNT have (we're down to about 25 on site at the mo- a drop of 20 odd over the last few months:thumbup1:) should be achievable. The milling side of things has been really full on recently which is a fairly good thing, and i have finally found the perfect labourer:thumbup: Good luck everyone for next year, and todays buzzword is 'optimism'
  5. I have one just over the cab. It isnt new, and as far as i am aware you cant get just cab ones except at the sort of money you have seen them already. Thing is, i dont reckon you would be able to make one and galvanize it for much less than they are charging....
  6. I dont reckon the road of death bit was staged.........it isnt called that for nothing, and he was veeeery close to the crumbling edge...
  7. CTS(combined tree services) has a very tidy tw190 he is trying to sell i think. Might be worth a pm.
  8. Haha- with any luck they will all get some hideous jungle disease and wither up and die:lol: Dont get me wrong- i like top gear, but those twits can get a bit tiresome from time to time.,.
  9. On now on bbc2. Landcruiser, range rover and suzuki sj in south america. Brill:thumbup:
  10. Liam- its pasties and milk we have down ere me andsome, that there ice cream is for th'emmets:lol:
  11. Dont forget- it has to be virtual footage:lol:
  12. Wish i could get that channel. Looks awesome.
  13. Dave that would be tops mate, ill gladly take you up on your offer. Thank you.
  14. I find it very interesting that some of you guys keep mentioning insurance as a subby....it is TOTALLY irrelevant whether you are insured or not. If your name isnt at the top of the quote for the job then your insurance cannot be use, PL or EL. The person who's job it is is legally responsible for insuring everyone and thing on site. I think Lee touched on this earlier. I rergularly pay someone 150 to come in and climb with/ for me, and he is an 120 a day wages with the guy he normally works for. He has 22 years experience in the industry, and would be happy with 120 at the weekend, but given how efficient and capable he is i think he is worth what i pay him, even though i am covering insurance and (other than his climbing kit and saw) equipment costs. Not sure what my point is here really...
