  1. Thats excellent news. Lets hope some guys get their kit back, and these scum get what they deserve.
  2. Welcome to arbtalk. You may find this link of some use...http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/general-chat/20693-110-chipper-thoughts.html
  3. Whilst in some woods i have been working in recently I spotted these. I cant work out what they are from my book (daldinia is obvious, and I think there is some xylaria polymorhpa? and a puffball) and the directory....they all start to blend together after a while:blushing:
  4. Yeah, thats what i am going to do, I have yet to see a grub screw that holds under those sorts of pressures.
  5. NIce. I think for the time being the 935 will suffice...
  6. wow thats amazing. I want one.!!!!!
  7. Yeah, but I look back on it now with a wry grin.......
  8. I was so confident, that i never took note of it, or took pics. Vermeer UK even offered to fax me a pic, but i said no it would be ok.lol
  9. I hate off roading.....It got alot deeper after this pic.....and then i managed to snap the winch wire.......and wreck the track rod..and both ujs......in fact the whole front axle:laugh1:
  10. ....dont i know it...... I have just replaced a bearing.....had to cut the old one off after houre with a 14lb sledge wouldnt move it. put the new one on and i think i have put it on backto front, hence this thread. Had to beat it off, so another new one required in the morning. what a knob:laugh1:
  11. Its ok. There is a pic of my one foray into off roading. I hated it.
  12. Yawn yawn yawn. Mine is none of the above, and in8 years has broken down once. People who make these sorts of comments are generally those who cant afford a landy but desperately want one, or drove a nail for a while and ignorantly assumed that all are like that. Didnt the thread ask what your landy is like, as opposed to what do you think of landrovers?
  13. Have dixon bate not thought of that by writing max 3.5 tonne? That must mean that whatever its bolted to, it can pull that. Ignore this- I have just reread your post and I misuunderstood it first time round.
  14. Personally, I think unless they completely redesign it and beef it up all round, it will never be unbeatable.....
  15. Good engines, but after that it all goes a bit awry....
  16. Its in excellent condition. Ru wouldnt dream of selling a nail. I see he has put new tyres on it since i was last at his place.
  17. I was certainly more impressed with the build on your old 190 than on any of the 150s, but nonetheless, it is a lighter machine than others that have been mentioned. The bearing issue is nowt to do with build quality, as you say. There ought to be a better bearing fitted with a grease nipple. Simple.
  18. Yeah true, but there is a big difference, more than exchange rates etc, and have been before the economy went tits up. There is alot more machine too. British labour is more expensive than abroad too. I dunno- im no expert, just trying to find possible reasons for it:001_smile:
