  3. So total income will be if sell all logs 62 x £100 = £6,200 Less Costs Timber £1014 + Fuel £100+ Chains £80 + oil £30 = £1224 Profit 6200 - 1224 = £4,976 £4976 / 10 days = £497.60 a day.:thumbup:Not bad?
  4. The grand total Have just finished logging, splitting and stacking all 26 tons of oak and ash. (Also found a little bit of pine!). It has taken a few weeks but well worth the effort. Will try and post a few pics this weekend The final grand total, volume, measured in cubic metres is........................................................................ ................................62 cubic metres!!   6. If that's all you need then NFU but beware as the policy smallprint states you are not covered for any damage within the a certain distance from the tree, They were great for me but I needed higher insurance cover and went to Bartletts

  18. Have been to remove three dead Acacia trees. Am not an expert on decay and wondered if anyone could identify cause of death? By the way, the smell was awful!!

  22. Good luck with it mate. My son is currently serving with REME in Canada, having just done 2 tours, iraq and Afg. He will probably come out next year and I hope to give him a push up the ladder if he wants to pursue this route.
