    Qualified climber with 12 months experience in domestic and comercial contracts looking for work in Hampshire and Berkshire area.   5. I always have some in the beer fridge its great after a hot day with ice but tonightI may just have an extra couple after being given two weeks notice something has got to chear me up:sad

  13. Mate we just get given the job sheet and get on with it besides oak isnt on my list of don't want to climb in the rain apart from not wanting to work in the rain full stop.
  14. Did the glass shatter spikey or did it break into shards ? The glass shattered into a million pieces so no cuts

Taking down a dead oak to leave just a standing habitat pole, after what he felt was the required hight and a compleated job the customer decided tha they wanted another six foot off so he pitched the ladder and whilest I was at the wagon out the front he proceeded to climb up and whilest trying to throw his strop round the tree the ladder slipped and the first I knew was when I heared the crash, I then looked down the side of the house to see the foot of the ladder sticking up from the other side of the fence and well you can probbably gess what my first words were.

After raining all morning whitch soaked us both to the skin my collegue fell about 20 foot through the nabouring gardens green house Apart from being knocked unconcious the only injuries sustained were a split lip and a smallish cut to the back of his head whitch wouldnt of happend if he had been wearing his chin strap, thank god for safety glass
  17. Nice one my second is two weeks old tomorow and I find that a bottle B4 bed helps sleep through the night personaly I prefure red but white works just as well:thumbup:

  19. We use a company called ABC response training, 0161 626 1364 they are used by quite a few arb companys in my area and do specific training for our industry

Climbed a 100' pine in Eastleigh and a 90' London Plane in Andover got taken to the Plane by my climbing instructor the afternoon before my assesment and the next morning the assesment trees loked so small we have got to brace a 100' + plane at work and im hoping to get the job just to get the chance to go to the top as its right next to twicks rugby stadium will make some wicked photos

Im 33 worked in forestry when I was in my late teens for a couple of years and after a long time as a hgv and plant fitter decided to do my nptc tickets for climbing a year ago and have been working for tree surgery company since april last year climb most days and love it the only thing is that a few people have told me that it takes 3 to 4 years to rearly find your feet
  22. Is there a novice section as Ive only been climbing since June 2008 but would love to have a go preferably without making an arse of myself by competing with guys who have been climbing since I was at school
  23. nissan have extended there warranty but didnt tell anyone according to watchdog so it might be worth speeking to your local dealer
