  1. like i said in the post you quoted :biggrin:im glad i dont fix planes aswell that would be boring , unlike 34yrs doing this job
  2. dont torque ,neither do i use a scaffolf=ding bar to get them tight,just kind of got a feel for whats tigh over thr yrs ,in this chippers case 9yrs
  3. whats this stuff like its just for smaller rigging jobs ,

  5. went to fit some fresh blades this afternoon, & found each blade had a crack in a simlar place ,thought they were sap stains @ till i tryed to clean them ,that could have been an expencive repair. these were aftermarket blades never had blades crack before ,:thumbdown:
  6. i looked a jd ,was in good nick, BUT it wouldnt start & wen it did it sounded like a bag of brokern spanners ,boome cluterd & banged about ,smoked like an 18century mill chimmney,

  12. thats in a controlled envrioment ,same as cars mpg figures , its some what diffreant on site

  14. some recent jobs here & there 1,st is deadwooding an oak @ my 2, youngens school,they had 3, firms to look @the tree, 1,said it was dangerouse & should be removed asap,but needed specialist equipment to remove & would be expensive, 1, firm said it just want a good deadwooding & felling was a bit extremme, i said it just wanted deadwooding & monorating, 2,nd is part of an ongoing site job in south yorkshire 3,rd is a job im helping out a good mate with in leeds

  16. my d-max is showing 27.6mpg. iv had it upto 40mpg on a run, its an autobox so not bad really, once it towing it drops to anything between 19 & 21 mpg
