the bottom cut was how it was done with an axe and a cross cut ,bottm cut then chop out the gob ,its easier to line up doing the top cot 1,st, for me any way

i wouldnt waste yr money on any thing like a carlton n900 or simlar, back breaking & numb to use ,ok for poxys 5" conny stumps ,thats it after that there hard work , yr probaly better of hireing a 20/25hp powerd grinder ,as & wen needed imo
