  1. Rod No it is a German made SHL. Nice mill but a bit noisey.
  2. Does this one count?
  3. The Woodmizer. Not moved for a few years.
  4. My old chainsaw mill. Not used for many years.
  5. I could come over thursday or friday with my Lucas mill. 8 in capacity Is the customer paying? I am just over an hour from Berkhamptead. John
  6. It is a MT8 050 Rare in the UK but there are quite a few clips on you tube presumably from eastern Europe. I think they were not actually made by Zetor but were rebadged 35hp and weighs just over a ton I think. It has front linkage and pto. I have seen a couple on ebay over the years but not another with duel wheels. John
  7. Here is my baby.
  8. Clive . We did not sit for long. Your friend Jeremy came out to help off load and took a car load of sycamore with him back to London. John
  9. I spent Friday milling 6 oak logs just outside the village of Manuden. Deciding whether we would get another board. No, best left as a bench.
  10. I have a pile of large spruce stumps near Llandovery . John
  11. This is my shed in our woods. Built from milled spruce with a tin roof found in my local scrap yard.
  12. I had one removed from my face last year, just a small red spot called a rodent ulcer. Cancerous but not the sort that spreads. I was told to wear a wide brimmed hat when in the sun. John
  13. I agree a duo pitch roof would be best. Make sure you keep the sole plate of the wet ground. This is my shed built from timber milled on the Woodmizer. If you need any timber give me a shout, I have a limited amount of 4x2 at the moment but hope to resume milling soon.i am near Dunmow.
  14. Where abouts is it? I have been looking for a cedar of Lebanon log for some time. I have a lucas mill so milling on site would not be a problem. What diameter is it? John
  15. Yes that's what i meant.i meant to type "no problem with the planners"
  16. Very slow on the mill ,but even with the gap removed it will not fit on the lathe. I have a Student and a Bantam . No pictures of the inside but i will try and take some. It has a small shop made woodburner with oven to cook a potato in ! If it is on wheels there is now problem with the planners if i want to leave it in the woods.
  17. I started work on my 2nd shepherd's hut today. I have some rings of an old set of cambridge rolls which I will use for the wheels . They are too big to fit in my lathe so l started milling off the ridge using a rotary table on the mill. The first hut was finished some time ago but the ground is too wet to move it so I think I will wait till the spring before putting it on Ebay. John
  18. Clive Yes we had a good day apart from spending 4 hours on the M25. I got home at 6.15 so not so bad. There was some really nice clear timber in the pile. John
  19. If it was nearer to me I would have a go for this. Looks like a nice stem and cedar makes great firewood. My stocks of cedar of Lebanon are getting low.
  20. I have an old LT 40. A great saw not too much to go wrong that can't be fixed easily. Bite there hands of at that price. John
  21. The digger comes off and a skip turns it into a normal dumper. It outdigs the little modern diggers i have used.
