  8. it all depends on the ground mate, boggy, stoney. can you see whats underfoot. the last thing you want to do is hire out your kit and get it wrecked. up here you can get a brand new 150hp tractor with any implement plus driver for under 25 quid an hour(not big fendts and mulchers)plus diesel. but these guys are working their nuts off. and usually get 1000s of hrs off their customers year in year out.
  9. sorry graham, messed up my post, i had edited but it was slow. are you selling it, or interested in buying it:001_smile:
  10. i priced one 4 years ago at the apf. 1500quid plus vat. hence why i didnt buy it. is it yours mate, or are you looking to buy it?

  13. do you all do pre start checks always mate:001_smile:
  14. i think climing big conifer hedges is the riskiest for cutting yourself, i have been in positions with the saw jammed behind my legs, small branches knocking chain break off, and climbing positions you would never be in working in a tree. i used to just wear type a because the allround were hellish and i couldnt move, but since finding stretch airs i dont find it a problem:001_smile:
  15. this is going to get good, i just know it
  16. plenty of water and some isotonic lucozade. but i usually take the really nice days off and enjoy them with the family, i would rather go to work on a crap day. probably beacause i play in the tractor when its cold and wet
  17. he definately rigs it off the tree, but he manouvers the rope out to the left hand side with the bucket. hard to say if he has just held onto the rope or tied it on some how.
  18. :scared1:thats a good enough reason to me:ohmy:
  19. you can make out the pulley on the trunk, then he nips back up and removes it. i wonder why they didnt just fell it though:confused1: i really like the time lapse stuff:001_smile:
