  1. so its ok to cut down a tree to make a fence to protect a tree from being cut down?
  2. i find its the customer that causes the hassle not the size of the job.
  3. i tell friends or family they can get it done for cheap or nothing when i get a chance or 120quid an hour plus vat and i will be there in the morning.
  4. timber hitch, prussik and one for attaching a rope to a toe bar(2 loops)and thats it mate.all my ropes have eyes on them.simples. but i would like to learn more, but i can never remember them. oh and a reef knot that i was taught in the cubs

  12. i am so dissapointed in my new tool, it fits on my belt, it saves me stabbing myself in the leg with a plug key and carrying about a toolbox, it was a disgusting 13 pounds including delivery and didnt have a chocolate bar duck taped to it:tongue_smilie:ha ha fantastic, really chuffed.cant wait for the chain to fall off the 046 now, far far away from the mog. cheers justin:cool1:
  13. bad news mate, i was working in woodland today bordering onto 4 sets of very expensive flats with acres of grounds. the guys doing the maintenance looked well dodgy, flymoing with trainers and hoodies on, srtimming with no visors you know the type. i wouldnt let them near the place personally. they came over to tell me they were tree surgeons too and just fell it into the lawns so they could get the firewood:sneaky2:
  14. that pic just doesnt do it justice mate, i reckon you would need a 6 foot bar to tackle her, that is the narrowest shot, it is more square than round. i just hope no more idiots have fires beside nice big trees. comunity woodlands.

  17. no access mat:thumbdown:just squeezes the van down between 2 garages and there was no chance they were letting me accross there rugger pitch with the mog, i sank just walking over it:ohmy:
  18. ok here, not turning as much as i used to, but outgoings are so much less as well. no stress, no hassles and hopefully get my new chipper in a few weeks:lol:oh and looking forward to capel too.
