  1. not an easy question to answer as it isnt best practice on here to talk about companies. you would be better putting pics of them up here and seeing what folk think of the chipper not the company selling them.
  2. mulchers are cool, and can cover a lot of ground, if the fallen stuff is old then it will balst threw it, you might come across some bigger harder stuff, but just shove it to the sideand come back to it at the end of the day. or fence it off with electric and throw in some pigs and come back in a fortnight:thumbup1:
  3. i dont know of any companies down your way mate, but you have the right idea. dont look at pictures in a catalogue this job is about sweating your balls off all day every day at the start, dragging branches lifting tons of logs up and down staircases and getting grief from customers, but we all love it, and i bet your job is a lot tougher and more stressfull than ours, so go for it. i would target a small company, just a couple of guys, work for much cheapness just for experience, speak to some of the training guys on here, richard from kingswood is a really nice guy, i met him a few weeks back, he has a great set up. all the best and welcome to the forum:001_smile:
  4. i was going to but i thought i would have to put it on the lounge, and i never check that anymore so i dont know if others do either. crap but funny crap lol
  5. excellent, they are cool. halloween indeed. get them on ebay mate, nimbus 2000 or a firebolt
  6. in my experience, do it yourself advertising looks amatuer and cheap. if you want to look cheap then knock yourself out, but i much prefer the professional look. i am looking for my customers to seek a professional so i will do the same. i have struk up a good relationship with my printers over the years. he spent over 2 hrs with me one day and i only spent 50quid on stuff, but i now do his trees for him and he knows a lot of good folk for networking:001_smile:
  7. call your local nieghbour hood watch or councilor. call the local newspaper to.
  8. they get a kick out of it dean, it is like rich folk shop lifting its a buzz. that is excellent mate. what an idiot. i am sure you will find him. there must be a way to get the utube video broadcast more, can we all shove it on facebook for a laugh??
  9. any descent printers will spend some time with you to do your design.
  10. the wife is taking the pic mate, so thats just leaves one other person who could be under the pink one:001_tt2:
  11. i dont reckon that fire gets lit josh, it looks pretty decorative to me, and althought he dog says it is cold the pine cones dont agree.
  12. i am going to be trying this out for sure, got you dave on the technique, i bet you need to get the back cut done quick though, so no rippy rippy
  13. how did he make it jump back off the hinge? did he have a wedge in the frony gub? great video by the way, i have never heard of nything like this before, i like to play around with hinges but on extreme leans they cantake a beating, but with all those little cuts in to compress the wood, that is very clever indeed
  14. this is real, i passed it yesterday and had to stop for a photo, it is in Glencoe.
  15. i would think it would john, i reckon the bigger the gap the better, giving more force into the squeeze on the stem, but not too much so the rings are around the corners so to speak. i reckon a 10-2 position would be best:thumbup1:
  16. i have stretch airs so it is like that every day lol
  17. thanks john lol but i want to know the percentage left for optimium grip. is that the same thing?
  18. not at all pete, sounds good to me.

  20. have you been sleeping johny:001_tongue:
  21. you got me fair and square deano, now i know what it feels like:thumbdown:all i can say i will think twice before starting my revenge on you, think twice as hard i mean:sneaky2:
