i grew up with a guy who now is a camera man, havent seen him for years. he fair gets about, i think it can take a couple of years of waiting to make a few minutes of good telly

if you are good then get a mog, because if you want to clear brash quickly you want a small unit with a big chipper. so get a mog, mine was huge and we got it everywhere, ok not into every driveway, but i would just stack it high and winch it down the driveway. if you struggle to make ends meet running a small tipper and tow behind dont waste your time with a mog, if you have loads of work, cant be bothered with 2 vehicles and staff wages killing you every week and cant keep up with clearing your feet on jobs, then get a mog and 12inch chipper. plenty do it, they aint stupid, i did it for 7 years and my mog made me loads of money, it did make me cry sometimes when i got a breakdown, but that was my fault for not doing regular servicing, and not having a descent mechanic at the end of a phone when i needed one, i sold mine because i wasnt using it much, but i miss it big time.

it may look big and heavy but in the flesh it is very slick indeed. if you have ever carried a 5 ton tirfor up a hill and across a burn with wire rope and strops and pockets full of shackles, this thing is like a handbag compared to one:thumbup:

builders bags not the fancy vented log bags of similar size. polly bags lol. have you ever tried to put logs in a polly bag??its like trying to pit privette into a bin bag:sneaky2:

there is always someone watching, you must remember that, no matter where you are working imagine it is for your scariest ball breaking customer and over a greenhouse, i know exactly what you mean joe only because i have done it myself, but dont wait till you get trouble to change your ways, we are having a laugh and we know you are a good lad, but from a boss's point of view if that picture had been sent to me from say a council tree officer i wouldnt be too chuffed, the quicker a boss can trust his staff the more freedom they get. It aonly takes one tiny lapse of concentration to go from a good day to a bad day. this isnt a dig at you just advice mate:001_cool:

i am just jealous of your spine mate, but in all seriousness look after it, we all were super bendy and indistructable at one time, it soon catches up with you, take your time and dont rush, i used to be like sonic on redbull when i was younger, i spent more time going over my mistakes rather than just doing it properly in the first place and not killing myself in the meantime..

i discovered big bagging non seasoned logs was a waste of time as they went mouldy, we emptied them out and have them stacked in an extremely windy site open sided and covered ontop, they are now dry. if i bag them up now will they go mouldy(these are not vented bags)

i have had one for years, they are strong and simple to work, my only critisism is keeping them upright, they can twist about and for new guys it can become a bit untidy until its loaded up, i think reg's version will be a lot better as it can be attached to the tree top and bottom:001_cool:

the bank is a business simple, if you arent making them money and are too risky then they will ditch you, the last few years have been the willy wonka golden ticket of borrowing, i am glad they arent throwing money at us anymore, i have been out of overdraft for nearly 3 years, and i aint going back, it is a false cushion that i was into upto my nuts as they say. Matt if you are running a business with 3k of wages a week and your turn over and profit isnt impressing them then take this as a sign mate,
